I ordered an Android tablet yesterday via the company's e-commerce site. Received a call today while in a meeting asking to call back with shipping address verification. When I called the number (877-345-6225) back several times, I received a recording, then was disconnected -- never able to reach customer service. They called back this afternoon and informed me the unit -- as described on their Web site -- comes standard with a "manufacturer's demo battery that is good for 10 minutes but not rechargeable and must be plugged in." If I wanted to actually carry the portable tablet around, I would need the "rechargeable battery upgrade for $24.99." I cancelled the order while on the phone and was told I will be charged a 25% restock & cancellation fee.

Nowhere on the web site does it state the product does not include a rechargeable battery (link: http://www.eglobalelectronics.com/featured-products/android-2-2-wifi-touch-screen-tablet-2gb-hd-w-camera.html)

After I was unable to reach customer service, I searched their company name and found dozens of fraud claims - including recurring monthly charges for 'memberships' even though never ordered or authorized.

I called my credit card company, cancelled my card and filed a fraud report.

The EXACT same thing has happened to me too.
Do not touch this company with a ten foot barge pole unless you want to be scammed !

I had a similar experience the summer of 2010. My 16 year old was going out of town to a summer program and we just wanted something small for her to connect to the internet. The netbook I purchased from Eglobalwireless.com nerver worked! I called and was told to return it at my expense and they charged me a restocking fee. The netbook was $99.00 but minus the shipping fees($15.00) and restocking fees ($20.00) I lost $35.00 and Eglobalwireless would not send me out another netbook. I call the BBB in Florida where they are located but to no avail. Somone said this is a one man operation and he works out of his garage. After you purchase the computer you will never get a live person on the phone. This operation needs to be shut down, they are just taking folks hard earned money and you get nothing in return!

well, i did save the 800 number to my phone, and i have an email with my order number and and all of my order information...although its now saturday and cant do anything about it...ughhhhhhhhhhhh...someone has to be able to help us . I have never been scammed before online shopping..this sucks. how to tell my son now that he will NOT be getting HIS GIFT

I also had issues with this company. Ordered a tablet for grandchild but never received it. Have waited 2 weeks, been calling, emailing and no response. I sent an email stating I was cancelling the order. Never heard back from them. Ordered one from Amazon.com, who I have dealt with many times and trust. It will be here this week. Notified cc company and reversed charges as never received item. The definitely are a bogus, cheating, scamming company.

have any of you spoken with anyone in person?? has anyones tracking number actually ever worked with www.usps.com ??? i have at least a tracking number and claims that my order was processed today in florida ...does anyone else get this ?

Same thing just happened to my mother. She ordered Nov 27th hasn't heard anything nor has received any merchandise. She was ordering them for her grandchildren three androinds and a web cam. I just tried to go to their site and am unable to. Guess she will have to file a claim. DON'T ORDER FROM THESE PEOPLE A SCAM!!!

again, i ask..has anyone gotten a tracking number?? im just wondering if i am one of the few that may actually get my merchandise as i have a tracking number and it states that its been processed in florida today around noon..obviously im not quoting it ...but if i am one of the few that actually have a tracking number, maybe i'll get my package

i also spoke with someone live on the telephone ... after trying different extensions several times ...i'm just hoping for a difference in my situation than others who havent gotten their package *biting fingernails*

I ordered a tablet on 12-1, have not heard anything on this, then when i tried to pull up there web site to check my order it was gone. First thing i thought of was SCAM!!! I called my credit card company immediately and cancelled out my card. I too am a single mom and this was a gift for my son for christmas. I would not recommend this company to anyone at all!!! I did order the same tablet from a local store and trust that It will be delivered.

We ordered cyber Monday. No one answers the phone and we still haven't received the 2 androids. I am highly disappointed. I believe they are now under the name global wireless electronics. Check it out. It's the same phone number. Let's bring them down.

What a scam. Can get no one on the telephone or to respond to emails. One email I did receive stated they left voice messages on my phone, what a bunch of BS ... no messages exist. Reading other reviews, seems all they want is your credit card information and bingo, the monthly membership fees start rolling in even after you may receive or not the products you ordered (mostly not). Run, run away for these no character people.

Eglobalelectronics is also Eglobalwireless. This company is run by a scam artist. Do NOT order from either site. I made an order. It had not been shipped after two weeks. I put a ticket in to their customer support online canceling my order. I got a confirmation of receipt of the ticket e-mail and everything. Five days later, they sent me an e-mail saying they shipped the item. They DELETED my customer support ticket off of their site.

Same thing here, placed order for 3 Android notebook...can not contact by phone, did not get an email response to my questions...now just reading this blog and am going to notify attorney generals office to report scam...wish I would of read this before I placed an order..guess that is what comes from me being greedy for a $79 laptop...my fault for not checking their credentials...

I placed an order on 12/3/11. Was getting nervous that I didn't receive shipping info after a week, so I called and left message on voicemail. I also emailed through their support link. i got a reply to the email stating that due to the holiday season there would be a delay in processing. The email had a bunch of extensions on the bottom for customer support staff. I started calling and punching in extensions. I finally got a hold of Mike. He immediately put me on hold as he was on another call. He quickly came back to me and was a God-send! my order was being held up because I had a different shipping address than the billing address. you could hear that the office was extremely busy... He kindly walked me through my order, answered questions for me, and helped me change my order to what I really wanted (android netbook vs. windows ce netbook). He also upgraded my processing to priority process and the shipping to 3-day shipping in order to assure i get them for Christmas. I had read all the reviews online - knew I was taking a leap of faith, and I'm still crossing my fingers that I will have these in my hands by Friday as Mike stated. I got a tracking number (although it doesn't work, but I have seen that before - if the post office doesn't actually have the package there can be a delay) I'm a single mom as well and these are for my children's gifts. Hoping that this leap of faith pays off.
