ecommercesalesdirect.com SCAM! Never did as they said, and refused refund Phoenix, Arizona
21st of Nov, 2011 by User140798
On November 5th, 2011 I received a call from ecommercesalesdirect.com. I was aware that my name was on a list for home business's. I talked to a James Ross for almost an hour, asking every question I could think of. The program was suppose to be an affiliate program designed to give you a store front website through which you sold items. The items that you would choose from were supposedly from a variety of major stores, like Wal-Mart, Target, Best Buy, and so forth. Your site would contain 6 to 12 categories through which you could sell whatever you decided upon: electronics, housewares, clothes, shoes, music, books, etc.... They would set up your webpage, and their coaches would help you get up and running. There was an additional fee quoted to me AFTER I signed up, IF I wanted help with traffic. Well, my webpage was never available. I was told several times that their server was down due to heavy rains in their area of AZ. However, I still have not been able to access my website. I did tell them I wanted a refund. That I felt that the program was not going to work for me. I was originally told that I had up to a year to request my refund if I was not happy.
I was told by customer service that I would not be given a refund unless I could prove that I tried everything possible to promote my website/sales. Since then I have tried every number I have for them, and today anyone. The lines were either continually busy, or the call would fail. It cost $195 to register into the program, and an additional $20 a month for domain. I would HIGHLY recommend that people stay away from ecommerce sales direct. com. The fact that their phones and their server are always "down", seems really suspicious to me. And for a home business I was told would make at least 2 to 3000 over Black Friday, and Cyber Monday alone ..... And STILL no website is available..... Says this is a major scam. If they return my money, I will recant this report, but until then I plan on spreading the word where ever I can.

I have the exact same complaint with this same company but they said I would be promoting Amazon products instead of the different stores like you mentioned!! I am trying to dispute this with my credit card for the marketing program and hosting. I was refunded the $395 "initial set up fee" by the merchant called Big Action Media as it shows on my credit card statement. The phone # on the receipt is 702-789-0405 and it says there is a 60 day refund policy.
I'm trying to get the $200 "hosting for life" package as well as the thousands of dollars (I'm too embarrassed to say how much I spent) towards the "marketing plan" I was sold on. They told me many great things that I found out since were not true and have not received anything from any of these companies who go by "Ecommerce Sales Direct". I have not received anything yet with any of these companies who are all billing under different names. I am contacting every site I know to spread the word that this company is a rip off and you are sold one thing, receive something different, and have a hard time reaching anyone. Each time I call the customer service # they have given me, they tell me "I don't know" or even better "yeah, we have had a lot of complaints lately about your same issue, I don't know what else to tell you but we are looking into the problem to see which sales rep it is and what he is saying". I asked to speak to a manager, was told no. I called again, asked to speak to a manager, was told I was speaking to one. This has been a complete nightmare since I signed up. I was told an incorrect figure on the commission rate of selling products on Amazon, which the rate that is correct would take years and years to recoup what I have spent on this.
The contract for the marketing states it is a 3rd party, however, since I was rushed into electronically signing it since it was getting late in the evening, they had already ran my card (I was told they were only going to check my line of credit at first), I agreed to sign the contract. My issue with this company is the lack of services I have received and misrepresenting what they were helping me "promote". If the numbers don't add up to make sense for me to spend time and money promoting another websites products (what I was originally sold on and refunded), why would I spend thousands to a 3rd party marketing company to help me that I do not even have access to now?
All I know I hope this gets corrected soon or I will continue my fight against this company and spread the word out on the internet, BBB, OIG, and everywhere I can think of.
