I am writing this tonight after a disappointing and frustrating day at the Manasas location. This morning I got the idea to try their dealership for my son, who needs a car has a job is more then willing to make on time payments but needs a break.Well I called their number 1-888-255-1000 and spoke to a representative of your's that I had a long conversation with 1;22 this evening and ask them about you cars and everything I would need to know before making a four hour 130 mile trip one way to see about a car. The person on the line ask about my sons money and his job and I told him he could only spent about 150.00 a month and only made 1000.00 a month from his job was told we would probably have to pay 200..00 a month but would be no problem to get him a car. I then ask for a listing to be sent to my email which would not come through but instead I received a chat line from the same person because he referred to what I had said on the phone.I asked about down payment and was told 1000.00 to 1500.00 would make it cheaper I told him we had no down payment and he said that ok we can still do it. He then ask when we could come in and what my son's name was I told him we would be there in about 2 hours could he send me directions and of course he did, I not knowing how long it would really take for the trip left Staunton Va with high hopes and a reassurance from your representive that we had all we needed to purchase a car.With gas at 4.00 a gallon this was not a cheap trip to arrive at your location and to be told straight up we can't help you first time buyers need to earn at least 2200.00 a month well if I had been told that on the phone or in the email chat I would have saved my gas and my time. we were also told he would need a down payment again if I been told this I would have stayed at home but instead we suffered humilition because the sale man as much as laughed at us . this is no way to treat people ,consumers stay away from eastern motor they will tell you anything to get you in the door. We were scammed don't waste your time like they wasted mine.
