East West Animal Hospital Dr. Register Vet missed broken pelvis on xray Internet |

Dr. Register was absolutely terrible. My 5 month old puppy was hit by a car yesterday and I immediately took my puppy to her veterinary clinic (East-West Veterinary Services) for evaluation. X-rays were taken, she examined him, and reviewed with myself and sister the xrays. She said there were clearly no broken bones and the only thing she was concerned about at this point was internal injuries and wanted him transferred to an overnight clinic for observation. I transferred him and picked him up this morning along with his records. I looked at the xrays and found a clear break in his pelvis almost immediately. I called her office and explained the situation and they said she was busy and would call back. An hour later and still no call back. I called again and again I was told she was busy. About 15 minutes later she called and told me the vet from the overnight clinic called her and said she could see a break in the bone and that she looked at the xrays again and could see the break. If I would have not seen the break ... My 5 month old puppy was hit by a car yesterday and I immediately took my puppy to her veterinary clinic (East-West Veterinary Services) for evaluation. If I would have not seen the break and called she would have never told me he had a broken pelvis. Terrible service. Absolutely ridiculous that I, someone who has no experience at all in the veterinary field, diagnosed my dog after treatment from somebody who went through school to do that very thing. Do not bring your animal to her. The office workers were also very disorganized and their fees were outrageous for the obvious lack of professional treatment. |
