We purchase a ECU for a 2001 Dodge Van 3500 from this company on April 2010.
On July 20,the vehicle returned the shop with the same problem and we contact ATE to send the module in warranty.They received July 28th and until August 17th the unit wasn't sent back to us.We received in the same condition ,as we send it before .We call them and we have to pay for shipping and send it again for them to repair it on warranty.The unit was send on August 24th.On September 29th we stil haven't received the module back from ATE and the person that supposelly work on our unit ,no longer work there.On October 18th we received the module from ATE in the same condition again.We spoke with them repeated times and we send the original unit to ACE,another company to repair twhich we received on time and reair without having any problem until now.
We contact ATE many times about a refund of the original price and after six monthof evasive answer we decide to publish this post.
Do not buy,or engage on any transaction,sale or repair with this company.They will not do what they claim and they will refuse to make good on their word.
They will run around ,until you give up and they will try to strech the warranty period for you to do a Credit card charge back.Again,do not deal with this company.They change their name to ASI now ,formerly ATE,which is giving you a hint of their business practices.
Ripp off!!!!!scam!!!!scam!!!!

Almost identical experience here. Sent my BMW ABS unit it for a rebuild, didn't work. Sent it back, they said I needed to buy a new one. Paid another $200 for the new one. It didn't work (and I had to front the bill for my mechanic to program the defective unit). Sent it back demanding a refund. Took 4 months of constant (one a week minimum) calls to finally get them to issue one. They issue a partial refund. I will not stop until they refund every cent of my money.

I HAVE been trying to get my money back from ASI for months they never call back could not fix my ECU and will not give a refund. They are a rip off. The worst ever.
