April, 6, 20011 - receiving numerous threatening phone calls to my home number advising I must call an Officer (somebody - can't make out his name because he sounds foreign and you can hear what I perceive to be telemarketing noices in the background) stating I ..."must return his call ASAP to avoid further investigation and serious financial consequences...." - I'm a resident of NC and currently dealing with solicitous creditors and collection creditors/agencies, however have recently hired an attorney on my behalf - these types of calls are even more hidious and threatening then the legitimate collection calls.....this is undoubtedly a scam, it is pervasive, and extremely aggravating! I have reported it to the Colorado Attorney General and will continue to monitor all subsequent calls,phone #'s, ficticious names,etc.,to further my report should something insidious occur due to these outrageous, inethical, scandalous, scammers! What's even more insulting and discerning is it is obvious the voice on the call is of foreign decent making it even harder to hear and/or understand their comments.....don't fall for these scammers - a world of hurt is all that will come of it if you adhere to their threats!
