Cruise America Healy Auto Group Horrible company to do business with East Dundee, Illinois

We were renting our very first RV at the East Dundee, IL store and had many issues upon returning it to them. These are the issues we had: 1. The patio light never worked the entire time we have the vehicle
2. Radio goes on and off when you are driving or hitting bumps
3. Rear view mirror fell off so it was useless throughout the trip
4. The screen door latch fell off and we screwed it back on
5. The CO2 detector kept going off by itself and wall screws did not mount in wall
6. The board holding the dinette table which converts to the bed fell off, so we were without a bed the first night until my husband fixed it the next day
7. Screws were missing on curtain rods
8. The lights dim at night and was told by Travelers Assistance we had to run the engine for 30 minutes before bed to strengthen the battery life, eventhough we were plugged in the the 30 amp unit, what? who has to do that on a vehicle every night?
9. The cab air conditioning did not run properly and did not work through the entire state of South Dakota
10. The screws were stripped out of the arm of the sofa next to the table and we weren't able to fix it
11. The strut on the rear bedroom bed was stuck in the upright position when we returned home and we had to take the screws out to close the bed
12. The glass panel on the entry door was falling down as we drove
13. And the biggest complaint I had was there was black mold. My son woke up in the middle of the night and complained his head and sheets were soaked, the next day we found mold underneath where they both had slept for nine days. The board was also warped so it had been there for some time. When we returned the RV and complained about the mold they did nothing to address that and blamed us for that in addition to other "damages" that were not from us but due to lack of and inspection before giving it to us for a cross country trip., The manager wouldn't allow me to speak to the owner to voice how unsatisfied I was. After several messages that I left for the owner the manager told me "that the owner doesn't want to speak with you because you aren't a customer of his as there is another name on the contract and he would be happy to speak with him but not to you since you aren't his customer." I was shocked!! Anyone calling is a potential customer, not to mention I was listed on the contract and thus a current customer of his, I just didn't supply the credit card. The person who had the credit card called and also got the stonewalling from the manager, by not being allowed to speak with the owner. I proceeded to call the dealer store regional manager of Cruise America and was told he would contact the owner and have him call me since the manager was preventing me from speaking with the owner. Big surprise that never happened either. Corporate does nothing to rectify anything, they just keep blaming the dealer store and the dealer store keeps blaming corporate. What a great scam they have going. Get your credit card and they proclaim they can't do anything because the ball is in the other guys court. I have reported this business to the BBB and any other website that will allow me to voice my immense dissatisfaction with this company. Spending $2700 for an RV for 10 days and then wanting to charge us an additional $400 when we did nothing wrong is a scam, not to mention the mold we were living with. We are in the process of disputing the $400 charge with the credit card company, which apparently seems to be everyone on this websites only recourse. I cannot believe the owner will still not speak with me when I am a customer voicing a complaint I have with his business. What a weasel. Horrible, horrible customer service. Giving even one star to this company is too generous, Take your business elsewhere as their RVs are dirty, old and falling apart.
