Crescent Processing Company opened on 6/6/06. (notice the three sixes together, that should give you an indication of what type of company they are.) One of the major investors of the company is Jon Frankel. This is the same Jon Frankel that owned Certified Merchant Services (CMS). To find out about him and what happened to his company just google his name and/or the company name. What you will find is that the FTC raided his company and took it over due to adding fees to applications AFTER the merchant had signed. They were taking additional fees out of the merchant's checking account without the merchant's knowledge. Frankel was fined millions of dollars but sold the company to First American Payment Services. He literally made millions off of the deal. He is not supposed to own any company in the credit card processing industry but gets away with it by forming a company called SonJack Consulting. His "company" is on the payroll of Crescent and Park Central Company but in reality he owns both of these companies. I highly suggest that you do not do business with these companies because if he did it before, he will do it again. Also, because of all the ripoff reports out there about Crescent he is going by different names as well. Along with Crescent, they go by Atrium Processing, Diamond Processing, and Park Central. Why so many names? Are they trying to hide something? Yes, they are trying to hide what they are doing to innocent small business owners all over the USA! If you look on Monster.com, you will see that they are constantly running ads for Inside Sales Managers which are called Corporate Managers. These Corporate Managers are nothing but people who belittle the merchants if the merchant does not say yes today. They are very much high pressure sales and berate anyone who does not do business with them. These CM's also treat their sales team very unprofessionally. As a sales person, if you like being treated like a two bit hustler and a nobody, then go to work for them. They talk a good game over the phone when recruiting you but all the recruiter is doing is trying to make their numbers of recruits in a week so they can bonus and they care nothing about you as an individual. All the recruiters want to do is get you through laptop training and get you to run your first appointment. If you do that and then quit, they still bonus. They promise two to four pre-set, twice confirmed appointments. If they had such great appointments, then they would not have to run ads every week in just about the same cities week after week because none of their reps would quit. Most reps last less than two days. Sure some are successful and Crescent makes money but how much is it legit profit or illegal fees? As someone who is looking for a job, do not quit a job to go work for this company. They will take advantage of you and it will cost you a lot of money. If you a merchant, do not do business with this company because it will cost you even more money and they get you to sign a contract that will cost you at minimum of $495 to get out. Read the fine print when talking with this company. DO NOT take them at their word. They will lie to you just to get your dollar. |
