Just to give you some scoop on a local school.. I was attending medvance on perimeter drive here in Nashville.
I had been going for about half a semester my grades were great.
Struggled a little in Biology/Anatomy but I was trying and went to every tutoring session I could. Well my preemie daughter got really sick and had to be hospitalized she had pneumonia, RSV and whooping cough we didn't even know if she would make it. But she did. Through out the two weeks I continued to go to school but didn't keep up with my homework I
only went to keep my attendance where it needed to be and to take a break from the hospital.. My grades dropped I brought all my grades up except anatomy I failed the class the teacher was one of the finest I have ever had but I just couldn't do it. I was very upset I am a mom of three and a devoted wife I felt I had let everyone of them down. But I knew I could do it so I went to Dena Ennis who is in charge of the Radiology dept. she encouraged me to go through with the
re-enrolling process after all I was a great student told me she would do everything in her power to help me get in. Well months go by and I heard nothing I called numerous amounts of times finally I show up and that is when they tell me according to the president new student have priority over previous students.. Well how is that we get in based on a
scoring card or whatever they call it I know I had more points than some fresh out of high school kids why am I put on the waiting list. So I told them its not fair I want a meeting with the president Mr. Hackney of the school ( I brought my children there so he knew why I was going to school in the first place) where of course he said he would try and get me an extra spot blah blah blah and he promised to call me back. I of course am still waiting on that call. On top of that there is a student there Valerie through trash at another student who is a war hero veteran and they passed it off as if it never
happened. But I can't get my spot back and my kid was in the hospital basically on her death bed. I believe it is a money thing. They can't get as much out of me cause I only have one class this time and I think everyone should know what they are doing. Its not right and somebody needs to stand up and tell them let them be known. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me Thank you
