Costumers Network Morris Costumes Inc re-stocking charges, return shipping, original shipping rates make it impossible to return items and get refund |

Morris Costumes Inc. sells online and if you buy online, beware, because the re-stocking fees, shipping costs, which they never refund, and unexpected fees give you almost 0 dollars refund for items sent back. For example, I ordered 4 pairs of colonial socks. Here is the cost break down for them. 4 pairs of socks total $12.60, Shipping: $13.64, Handling: $5.72, Grand Total: $31.96 Notice that that shipping and handling UPS costs more than very light package of 4 pairs of socks. They did not send the correct items, so I emailed for an RA number as required to return them all. I paid shipping again to return. They refunded my credit card $ 7. total without refunding my shipping costs back to them. In other words, I paid $32.96 for 0 items, much hassle from them. I had to track down Morris Costumes hiding behind the website with no phone number, etc. to talk with someone. They have stolen $31.96 from me, and sadly, it is all legal. Beware before you order their items because their re-stocking, no shipping/handling refund, etc. will leave you with no items and no dollar refund for the returned order.

On October 14th my girlfriend asked me to order a costume that www.CostumersNetwork.com listed as "in stock". I purchased the costume and received a confirmation email and the next day a USPS tracking #420080759101969010386755359937 for USPS for Priority Mail.
11 days (Oct 25th) later the item DID NOT ARRIVE nor has the tracking number EVER BEEN UPDATED to be "accepted" at the Post Office (as anyone can submit electronic information, but does not mean that the item actually gets mailed as the post office has told me). I attempted to call the site/business but found that they did not list a phone number and also noticed that they did not have a street address, only a FL PO box. After emailing the company back and forth (because they only allow 350 characters in the "contact us" form) they refuse to accept responsibility for the item not making it to shipment. I asked several times for a phone number and they will not give me one and I actually had to fight to get the guys name that was emailing me as they were being signed off as "customer service".
I also called the post office and they did an investigation (confirmation # CA-103359782) and they told me that they submitted tracking numbers from NC not FL, and they could see that out of the 19 tracking numbers submitted AT LEAST 6 others also never made it to the post office.
After contacting the website about this again they just gave me a run around asking me to mail something to the PO Box they have listed. I would like action taken against these scammers as I have for an item they obviously did not mail. Their emails are also a "no-reply" address. They are clouded in mystery and when asked about these things I was told "our internal operations are not your concern.".
BAD SERVICE!
SCAM!
Be Careful!
