Coast to Coast Grand Getaway Vacations Pressure Phone Call to book a Vacation Sarasota, Florida
9th of Nov, 2011 by User454538
I received a phone call in the afternoon on November 10th from a gentleman who introduced himself as Mike. He informed me that he represented a travel service that has since changed its name to Coast to Coast Grand Getaways. He also informed me that I was a past member and that I had $3000.00 in credits for an upgrade to the Gold Club. That raised a Red Flag immediately. I decided to play along and listen to his monologue about these great vacations at a very cheap price. He directed me to their website (www.coasttocoastgrandgetaways.com) It looked legit. Being a web designer, I could design a website similar as well. it is not hard. Still playing along he directed me to his manager to discuss buying a package. So I waited a minute or two until another gentleman chimed in and introduce himself and asked me how did I like the presentation. I told him that I didnt get much out of it and I would like for him to send me some literature so I can research their company and reputation. I also told him if I could submit their company to the West Virginia Attorney Generals' Office for referral and they immediately hung up.

Interesting.. Very Interesting!!! I also received a call from this same company ad some how after having a lifetime membership with www.CheepTrips.com and getting a promotion deal with them as 4 round trip tickets anywhere in the us for $100 they claimed to be picking up where Cheap trips did not follow thru and asking me for another $199 per year $350 for a 2 year deal and would be able to take care of the the deal where cheap trips did not make good on saying that cheap trips has got these discounts thru them (coast to coast).
Telling me 8 times that they have been in business for 40 years and seeing the web site just made copy written of 2011 and knowing scams from the past I was wondering how to get at least my 4 round trip tickets made good and he countless times told me that it would be made good only if I was enrolled as one of their members.
Not sure what I can do at this point but as I see it I'm already out $100 and not to take any more of their poison BATE. BITCHES!!! this A-HOLE'S number that called me is 941-552-4074

Amazing! My husband and I have also been hounded by this same company calling from the same number (941-552-4074). He said his name was David and gave us the story of how Coast to Coast Grand Getaways bought out/ took over for Cheap Trips and we have $3000-$5000 in equity. I told him to go ahead and send us a check to which he replied that we do not have access until we activate our membership by paying $199. He said they have been in business since 1972 and have over 8 million members. He refused to send anything via mail, but would email me. He said the parent company is Good Sands Enterprises. The toll free # is 800-594-9435, ext. 128. He was very pushy and tried to get me to pay the 199 immediately and then he would send a membership sticker, an 8 day/7 night getaway, coupons, etc. where we would supposedly get all these great deals or be able to sell it. Scams get so tiring!
