I have been to this place. 4 times. Each time I was told I was accepted in the study and the next visit would be a treatment. A breakdown. I received a call 5 weeks ago. I was asked to go in and be tested for eligibility. A phlebotomist came to take my blood....couldn't and I was stuck again in the opposite arm. I was told on the phone call that I would get the details of the study on this same visit. HOWEVER THE SAME DOCTOR THAT CALLED ME AND ASKED ME IF I WAS TAKING ANY MEDICATION TELLS ME since I have been taking medication I have to wait ANOTHER week. Mind you I spoke with her the day before and she could have told me that before I drove 1+ hour to get there. The next week I get a phone call. Why? My blood was sent in requesting the WRONG test and I needed to come back in. However it would only take 5 min for a "finger prick" as they "just got the test kits for the study in". I drive again. I get there 15are min before they open...go in and wait for almost 2 hours for a 5"finger min finger prick. I was given a new excuse every 15 minutes. They finally do it but want me to stay for ANOTHER hour PLUS. Mind you I need to work. I reschedule for the next week. I go in. They explain the study. I sign forms I was told I would get a copy...surprise I never did. So after they take MORE blood etc..I'm given a FULL physical. 2 hours later I leave. I get a call today...4 days later that I need to come in for a FULL PHYSICAL before I can start the study. Even though I was already given one. I was told this study would be 7a visits total beginning to end. I have been there 3 times none of which count and they are trying to add another. No thanks. BEWARE if you like most of us work for a living. I will NEVER waste my time with them again.
