Charter Communications SCAM on promotional offer - BAIT and SWITCH 207 Tuckie Road North Windham, CT 06256, Connecticut

The scam is actually a Charter Communications Scam for cable/internet/phone. They offer online a Triple Play package online for a set price and you sign a 2-year commitment, and you actually call to confirm, and in return they will give you a $400 rewards card. Yay right? They set you up the installation to set up all three at one time. They send someone out for instllation and then while they are there claim they can't get the phone installed (in my case, may be different part of the package install for others). They ask you to reschedule. So you call to reschedule and no one takes care of you. They send you your first bill with FULL rates, not the promotion. When you call they claim that since you did not have all three services, you don't get the promotional rate until all three are installed -- which is their fault it wasn't installed, and they have yet to install. They also tell you are no longer qualified for the rewards card because you don't have all three services, which again their fault. So the scam is that they have you sign up for a promotion, they can't deliver, and tell the customer per the contract it has to have all three parts and you are still committed but pay the full rates until they have time to complete it and get no rewards promised. Pretty savvy huh?
