I tried this so called cell phone spy software from cell-control.com. It makes big claims to do amazing stuff (listen to calls, read sms texts, never have to touch the target phone, gps, simple and easy download in minutes).
1) dowload was a zip file and I had to use 3 zip programs to finally open
2) tried to download files to cellphone, received errors of 907 invalid files
3) I emailed the company, was given a generic message to use an updated zip file program
4) with a little techno knowledge I have, after 3 days I found out how to down load files properly
5) files download, press run and I get "java lang, noclassdef found" error
6) for 4 days straight I emailed then to get same generic message "Here are the steps to download to Blackberry. Site claims 100% refund, I have request 10 times, but they keep replying with messages on how to download files to a BlackBerry. Never Use This Scam called CELL-CONTROL.COM |

| I'm sorry I didn't have a knowledge of this before I lost my money to this scam!, I'm so pissed!, but lesson learned. @ Mcraytonn< I still don't trust any of them now becasue the fact still reamind that they don't display a contact number so we can call for any info if needed. that suck!. |

Wish I had found this info as well, major rip off & zero instructions to
Install on an iPhone. Dirty lying $&@?!!. Finally got it unzipped, & used
iPhone browser to transfer to phone, but no run or exe command to
install. Lots of talk & zero results. Feel violated. Maybe it does work
but on ltd devices, not the way they advertise. Yeah some asshole
is sitting back & watching his account fill up with our hard earned cash!! |

Well it may be that I used PayPal to pay for my transaction but after the software would not work I asked Plimus for a refund and received a notification from PayPal today that I have been refunded for the purchase. I purchased the software on Friday 8/26. After problems with the installation I started researching Google and found this website. Wish I had found it first!! I tried to contact Cell-Control at [email protected] only to receive an automatic response stating not to reply to their support email address and to use their web app. As many have found out their web support app does not work. On Sunday 8/28 I submitted a dispute claim with Plimus. This was my claim; “Software offered for download will not work. Cell-Control company appears to be a scam. The only avenue they offer for customer support will not work. I’ll be disputing my PayPal transaction due to Cell-Controls fraudulent advertising. I cannot believe that Plimus would be associated with a company like this.” Today, 8/29 when checking my email I received this from Plimus;

Comments: VENDOR : Full refund ( USD 69.95 ) - It appears you have not followed our installation instructions the way we gave you. There could be various causes for your files not getting transferred correctly depending on your computer configuration or cell phone settings. Your request for a refund has been approved.
I also received a notification from PayPal verifying this. Maybe I’m just one of the lucky ones able to get a refund. Regardless… my thought are... if you are thinking of purchasing this software… DON’T. If you did purchase it… request a refund from Plimus ASAP. If I remember right Plimus will not consider anything over a week old. Best of luck. MM |

| Oh my God. I can't believe i was taken by this website. They responded saying they are processing a refund since 08/16/2011 and it is 08/31/2011 and still no refund on my money. Please what can i do to get my money back? |

| I am not going to claim this is a scam because I really don't know. I can just provide the problems I had with the software. If you have the first droid I wouldn't recommend installing the software because it didn't work for me. The applications had a bad reaction on my phone. Also, it was too complicated to get all the files converted and when I did the software constantly read errors. I immediately sent a refund request and got my refund the same day. For anyone who needs a refund go to www.plimus.com and it will guide you through the process. They were very helpful in getting my money back. They were quick about it as well. This software may work on other phones it just didn't on mine. I hope everyone gets their problem resolved. |

Hi all, I can help you out. I'm a reseller for Cell Control and I understand their customer service is really bad. I personally had to physically track down the company technicians to get the specific unzipping and installation details. Apparently you have to convert the files again. I can do that for you. Send the zip file to [email protected] together with the specific phone model you're using. I'll customize it for your phone and send it back to you. After you've seen it work you can then go ahead and "tip" me out of your clear conscience, not necessary though. I'm just trying to create a healthy market for this software as I wouldn't want to be associated with selling a fraud product.
I was also ripped off by this company. They provide no phone number or address and I am going to attempt to turn them into the BBB. Without the phone number or address I don't know if they'll take the complaint as I don't even know which location to turn them into. The last email I got from them was rude and insinuated I was stupid. This person with the posting right above this which I copied and pasted states to send him the info. and he will "fix" it. I tried sending HIM and email this mornign and it comes across as undeliverable so that won't work either. They offer a money back guarantee and then refuse to answer emails. I have sent 7 emails since July and only got the one rude response back and they will not answer any others. I talked to my attorney and have a friend in the local State Police and they both advised this is FRAUD so the Police Offer is doing a preliminary check to find out if he can get further information on them. If this [email protected] reads this please advise your correct email address. |

I can't belive that these bustards are still in bussiness, Too bad I did not read all the posts I'm reading now about cell-control scam, now I am another victim that agrees with every one that had that same experience.
I didn't get a refund neither, It is a SCAM. |

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY LIKE I DID !!!
I kept going in circles with their support. Able to unzip and download files to phone, but application would NEVER start. I have PalmPre and they would give no direct answer if their software compatible with this phone. |

I'm filing for a refund through PLIMUS... because they are the ones who are handling the credit card transactions... the funny part is that they kept refusing MY PURCHASE because I had multiple addresses on file!!! WOW... now, since seeing this post I AM FURIOUS!!!
