Atralin Gel - Valeant Pharmaceuticals Coria Laboratories Atralin Gel Coupon Program Blatant False Advertising Irvine, California |

I also printed the coupon of the website that specifically states: "Use this offer to pay no more than $25 for each prescription for Atralin Gel. If your pharmacist says your out-of-pocket cost will be higher than $25, please call 1-877-343-1237 to make sure you get your benefits."I called the phone number where I was told there was a $100 maximum discount. The pharmaceutical company is well aware that this drug is over $200. The representative tried to imply there was a pharmacy error. Walgreen's pharmacy called and was also told of the maximum discount. If the company wanted you to actually pay no more than $25, they would not have set up the program to pay up to a maximum. This is deliberate as they know the price of their own medication. My cost would have been $101 and it was suggested that I buy the medication and mail my receipt to get reimbursed. Why would I do this? Who would trust this company with its blatant false advertising to actually send my money back? As stated by another person scammed on this website, no where on the website coupon does it state there is a maximum amount. They do however say if the pharmacy is unable to give you the discount, mail in the rebate. The pharmacy has no control over the price charged by the program and they know this to be correct. There is nothing that Walgreen's could have done differently, they just do not want to honor the program discount unless you pay $100 first. The FDA regulates the advertisements of pharmaceutical companies with its Truthful Prescription Drug Advertising and Promotion (Bad Ad Program). You can report any pharmaceutical company that falsely advertises: http://www.fda.gov/Drugs/GuidanceComplianceRegulatoryInformation/Surveillance/DrugMarketingAdvertisingandCommunications/ucm209384.htm#ContactInformation |
