Camden Palisades Unlawfully Restraining the renters' Right to choose and take advantage of the competitive rates offered by Cable, Satellite and Internet providers on the Open Market. The Monopoly Scheme, the so called “Technology Package” $92.00 extra and added as part of the monthly rent; is a SCAM to extort more money from the renters and Suppress Competition. The Scam also puts the tenants at the Risk of Eviction for not paying the fees as part of the rent, not simply discontinue the service if it is directly through a provider. That is a violation of the ANTITRUST Laws.
Renters, in Addition to the monthly Rent will be subject to:
1- “Decoration” or “Administration” NON-Refundable Deposit $500.00,
2- Technology Package (cable TV + internet) Fee monthly $92.00.
3- Water, Sewer, Trash and Management Fee! Monthly $36.00 - $80.00
4- Renters' Liability Insurance Coverage monthly $30.00 +
5- Charge for Front Door (Break ins are common) $ 225.00
6- Moving out cleaning fees and other invented Charges $85.00 +++
Unreasonable Rent Increase at lease renewal, in addition to the monthly charges. Even though; comparable apartments within the complex are offered at a much lower rates to lure innocent newcomers into the TRAP.
Rent somewhere else and avoid falling into the TRAP of Deceptive Business Practices. |
