| The "people" at the BoulderGeekz, also known as the computergeekz, are the worst kind of people. They take advantage of peoples ignorance about computers, over charge where possible, and have made sure to insulate themselves so that there's no place to go to if you want to file a complaint. Many complaints come out of this place, but they're rarely heard because they're by in large from people that aren't computer savvy enough to effectively communicate the sleazy business practices that go on at this company. They tout themselves as the craigslist police, often flagging businesses randomly. They try to push out other businesses so that they can continue ripping off people in the colorado community. I'd recommend all of my friends and anyone I know to stay very clear of these people when trying to get a computer fixed. Absolutely awful people. |

Rebuttal by company owmer.
The accusation in this rip-off report is completely untrue and unfounded such lies should never have been allowed to be posted on this web site. However, we know who is behind it – a competitor, pretending to be a customer. We know why he is doing this and are in the process of taking legal action against him to resolve the matter.
He claims that we have many complaints against us but he really has no idea and is unable to substantiate his ridiculous claims which don't come close to reality. We have repaired thousands of customers' computers, have a great reputation, and have a large number of loyal returning customers and referrals. We certainly don't overcharge customers (we actually charge less than our accuser).
We do NOT "insulate" ourselves from anyone, especially not our customers. We have a company web site, great online reviews, company email addresses and telephone numbers all of which are openly published and readily accessible and usable by our customers. A customer's phone call will usually always be replied to by a live person during normal business hours and emails are replied to quickly. Plus, we have an office that customers can visit. On the rare occasion that we do have a customer complaint it is dealt with quickly and in a mature and professional manner. We are a reputable, professionally run company that is registered with the state of CO and have a business license, insurance, etc. The competitor that posted the bad review of us here can't make any of the same claims.
Also, we don't remove other local businesses off CraigsList, not even our competitors (most of whom we have good relationships with). In fact, we couldn't do so even if we tried. |
