I hired Bill Frusco Plumbing in Philadelphia to install 2 new toilets, replace any
damaged pipes and tile my floor and shower. From the very beginning they (Bill Frusco Plumbing) were trouble. You can leave a number of messages with Rose for someone
to call back and go weeks without hearing anything. Kevin the contractor
is slick and didn't make us sign a proper contract which now I find is
Pa law explaining theirs and our rights which I found out later. They
also give you a quote for one thing and then it mysteriously changes on
other quotes sneaking things in that wasn't discussed. They also
delivered the wrong toilet and broke numerous things including beams,
trim, door and more. They break more than they fix and in some of the
cases just said they didn't do it. I think I would have remembered if my
bathroom door didn't shut before. They subtract a tile guy named Brian
Grobelny who did our floor then refused to come back to finish the job.
He claimed to have been harassed by our towns code enforcer but we now
found the truth. He applied for a permit for the floor he had laid the
previous day and was denied. HE DOES NOT HAVE A LICENSE IN PA TO DO ANY
WORK. My town is slapping him with a $1000 fine and we are filing with
the attorney general for him to receive additional fines. We hired a new
contractor and he looked over what Bill Frusco did and the paper Kevin
had us signed and said that they were not following Pa law and are doing
everything wrong. Bill the owner promised me he would call me back
before we found this all out and said that I could trust his word that
he would get back to me and I never heard from him again. They start
jobs, get a bulk of money and then run with their unlicensed
contractors. BEWARE AND SAVE YOURSELF A LOT OF LEGAL PROBLEMS WITH THEM.
Lastly, as I can tell all of the positive reviews about Bill Frusco seem to be written by the same person on consecutive days. A big red flag I should have noticed before Bill Frusco stole my money. |

| First off 90% of the positive reviews about Bill Frusco are FAKE!! All these people had a great experience with Frusco plumbing and Frusco Steaks in the same week? Cmon!!! Here is my experience and unfortunately for me it is all too real.I hired them to replace two toilets, change any bad pipes and fixtures and tile the floor and shower walls. They came out to start the job, pulled down my insulation, left it on the floor to get wet when it rainned, I got them to bring some new but they didn't put enough back up, left broken boards from pulling it down, scratched up my walls, broke my trim, broke my bathroom door (and said they didn't). They subcontracted a tile guy who started the floor and was told when he left the first day by our towns code enforcer that he needed to have a permit. He applied for it the next day and was denied because he is NOT LICENSED TO WORK IN PENNSYLVANIA at all. I only found that out after 3 weeks of calling Bill Frusco's plumbing and leaving many messages asking when he was coming back out. Was being told that he would get back to me. Found the truth out from my town. The owner of Bill Frusco Plumbing promised me himself he would call me back and never did. It is now over a month later and I have a half finished bathroom with damages. Bill said that the tile guy didn't want to come back because he didn't like the code enforcer and he liked his tile man so much that he would not find me a replacement and that happens sometimes because he is an artist and that is how they are. They charged us for permits that they still haven't paid to my town. They are being issued a citation and are being investigated by the BBB now. I can't believe how unprofessional they are. PLEASE BEWARE. There are plenty of other plumbers out there. Do your homework (like I should have done better) and find someone reputable. |
