Bella Grace Developers Resurrection Home Improvements Robert Iannone from Bella Grace Developers Took My Money And Ran And Did Not Complete The Projec |

In June of 2010, I signed a contract with Robert Iannone from Bella Grace Developers (AKA Resurrection Home Improvements) of Middletown, NJ to renovate the lower level of my home. This contractor started the work but never completed the job. Furthermore, he has taken money for services not performed and refused to come back to the property to complete the work (not to mention all of the problems with the quality of the work). Per the contract, the project was to be completed on or before November 5, 2010. I was told that completion of the project should not take that long (per Mr. Iannone 1.5 - 2 months) however he had to put a completion date in the contract to comply with state/federal regulations. Apparently, he underbid the job and never completed the renovations. Now, he has all my money and the job is not complete. All of my attempts at resolve the situation were in vain as this contractor had no intention of returning to the job, he was just stalling. I have sent him numerous text messages, phone calls and even letters from my attorney with no response. The last time he was at my home was prior to Thanksgiving, 2010. Apparently, he also owes money to other people he contracted the electrical, plumbing and other work out to as they have not been paid either (per my conversation with the contractors). I have asked him multiple times to come back to my property as this has now gone on for almost 1 year. I have also hired an attorney to pursue him legally not only for the additional expense of bringing in someone else to complete what he hasn't finished, but damages as well. In the meantime, I am forced to live in less than half of my house as all of my personal belongings in the unfinished portion of my home are scattered about my house. I have also contacted another contractor and have to spend thousands of dollars not only to complete the project but also fix the things Robert Iannone did wrong. |

This is not the first time this builder did this to someone. It would appear that he has had multiple issues with various clients. I heard that he took someone else for over 6 figures a few years back. |
