| Baker Careers and Partners Helen Fratt Yet another Craig's List job scam Fort Collins, Colorado |

This morning I found a job on Craig's List Fort Collins, CO for a Front Office Coordinator that I found to be rather vague. Here is the ad: "The right person for us would be team oriented, open-minded about new techniques and ideas, committed to continued education, efficient, well organized and comfortable with change. We believe in giving our guests the best possible care and need someone who shares that philosophy." I emailed them for more information. Here is the response I got:
"Hello Catherine, We would like to thank you for sending your resume to Baker Careers & Partners. After reviewing your initial credentials, I think you could possibly be a great fit for our company. Our Human Resource manager would like to schedule an interview with you before she leaves for vacation early next week. You need to complete the pre-interview screening before we can schedule an interview, which can be found at http://workforbaker.info or the career link on our homepage. Your applicant code is 031085. Please write down your code, as that is the only way you can gain access
to your application and employee profile. Once you complete your screening someone from HR will contact you within 72 hours to schedule an interview.

Baker Careers & Partners" This is the exact response I got for another job that I was interested in back in Oct that turned out to be a fraud as well. I immediately went to Baker Careers & Partners and their web site was the same as the one for the other company as well. Be aware of these scams. If you apply for a job and this is the response you get, do NOT fill out the application or the credit report they request at the end as their "background check"! |

AFTER I RECEIVED MS. FRATT EMAIL I DECIDED TO FIND OUT SOMETHING ABOUT THE COMPANY AND CAME ACROSS YIOUR REPORT, . THANK YOU FOR WRITING THIS REPORT. | I emailed a question on a Craigslist post this morning and got the response from Helen as well even though I didn't send my resume. You would think something could be done about people like this :( |

Thank you! I too received similar response to ad on Craigslist . Decided to look it up to verify and sure enough, scam. So sad people are taking advantage of people who are just looking for employment.

| I as well just received the same exact email and googled the name and found this! I wish Craigslist wasnt filled with so many of these scammers. I have found legitimate work through the site which is the only reason I still search on there. Good luck to everyone trying to find a job! |

I got the same email back to a job post I applied to as well, here in Macon GA. I am so sad now, this job sounded perfect for me.
I usually am able to weed out the scams before I apply to them but this one seemed so personal.
"Growing medical equipment sales company has an opening for a Part time receptionist. We are seeking a person with a laid back personality who likes dogs (we have a big one in our office most of the time). This position allows for casual dress (jeans and flip-flops are fine)."
I should have known it was too good to be true. |

| Thank you all so very much! I was curious that a company would have you fill out all of the things they want you to without even speaking to you by phone. So of course I googled baker career and partner. I was actually surprised but glad to find this before I gave them more information that what was on my resume. |

| Just got the exact same email concerning a medical billing assistant. I even paid for the Credit report and had to back track to cancel the free membership...They are now using the name Jayson Crandall. It is seriously pathetic that they would do this and honestly what the hell is the point. I will be looking into filing a complaint with the local news station here to make sure that this company and its habits are well known in my area. |
