| Mike Gideo is a crook. Beware, he tells you a good story, but that's all it is -- a Story. First of all, I wouldn't recommend Mike as the quality of his work is substandard. Additinally, he will try to unbundle the work and charge you extra upon completing what is already in your contract. He does not pay his subs, and therefore, be sure to withhold enough money during the 3/4 payments to ensure you will have enough to pay the subs to avert a mechanics lien being placed on your hose. Lock all of your doors and do not let Mike or his subs get anywhere near your tools. He ripped us off royally. After he was done, I had to call other professionals out to the house to complete/fix the shoddy work performed by mike and his team. One day, his team of subs wouldn't go to work until he finally handed over the cash. They all conspired to sit there and do nothing until he gave them some money - and another story. He will also help himself to any food/drink/beer in your refrigerator. You may need to keep your refrig under lock and key when he is around. His jolly red nose suggests that he likes something more than ice cubes in his orange juice. You can tell when he is lying to you because his eyes give him away. And that folks is ALL the time! |

I too am a home owner in the Plano area and we use Mike / Backyard Architect to do our pool. We got everything we were promised and our pool looks GREAT! Mike is an artist with more talent than anther pool builders we interview for our project. I am glad we choose Mr. Gideo and am very happy with our new backyard.
As far as OUR fridge, here in Texas it is already in the hundreds or as we say 3 digits and we offered up any drinks we could supply in this horrible heat... most days he would say thank you but never took anything as he always supplied water and drinks for himself and his crew. I for one would not work outside in Texas during the summer months... the above person sounds quite self centered and not very thoughtful of other...
oh before I go... the NOSE... have you ever heard or ROSACEA ... IT IS A SKIN DISORDER... MOST LIKELY AGGRAVATED BY THE SUN/HEAT... I asked Mike about it... he was very forth coming and yes a bit embarrassed but hey... I for one like the guy...LOVE THE WORK...! BEAUTIFUL JOB MIKE THANKS.
P.S. IF I WERE MIKE I'D SUE YOU FOR SLANDER...I WILL EMAIL HIM THIS POST ... I HOPE HE SUES YOUR BUTT
I can help noticing you have no problem slandering him anonymously BEWARE of those who tread on others with out leaving their name... and keep in mind there is always two sides to a story...
