We paid Anthonie Ruinard $500 in March, 2011 for lead generation for our business. He represented himself as "Ruinard Industries" at the time rather than Legacy Graphic Designs. He was very convincing of his company's capabilities with customer call centers, internet services and their ability to meet our needs. His stories about his $3,000 suits and $1500 shoes were a bit much, but we focused on what sounded like his ability to do business. One week after we paid him, no progress was made. Two weeks after - it was the same story, no progress. He assured us that his "guy" would get back to us right away with an update on the project. It was no surprise that there was no phone call and no update. One month after we paid him there was still no progress on the project ... not a phone call, not an email, not even a text message with any kind of update. In June we emailed him and let him know that we were going to pursue a small claims court case, like any frustrated customer would. As of Sept. 22, 2011 when we attempted to reach Mr. Ruinard, there is no working phone number for him. His website is shut down. In checking his background he seems to have a rap sheet dating back to 2007 that includes everything from animal cruelty to weapons offenses. If you come in contact with Anthonie Ruinard, don't believe anything he says! He doesn't perform the work he says. He will be more than happy to tell you whatever you want to hear and take your check, then promptly drive to the bank to cash it and then move on to his next victim (customer) to scam them too. We encourage you to file a formal complaint with the Attorney General Office. This is only way people like Ruinard will be stopped and kept from continuing to do business.
