| I have come across many individuals who have similar stories about American educational services and its loan sharking and unethical collection tactics. I will not recount my experience because it is a carbon copy of what other people have been saying about AES for years. I'm done talking, this is 2011 I think it is time that we slammed a class action lawsuit against this company. Their harassment and collection tactics are due for punishment by the law.Please let me know if you are interested. I have found a really good website where we can initiate the law suit. | The amount we co-signed for our daughter was 20, 000 at 6.5 % interest, with this interest it made the total 21, 390 we now owe 32, 534.27 they have only applied our payments to the interest not the principal, I have a feeling this is only going to keep going up even though we are making payments of 250.00 per month yes we would be interested in joining a class action suite where do we SIGN UP at? help we feel like we are being taken down the river. When we speak to them on the phone they are not willing to give us straight answers and we are being given the run around. [email protected] |

| Oh man, I just dropped the F bomb on these people! I am so tired of putting hours trying to get my account current. I have ONE account number...yet they distribute payment to 3 different loans and I have no idea how to make all three current and their billing is so wildly confusing, it renders my higher education almost useless. I get bills in my mail box on May 15 that were already due May 1 and then get a phone call the next day. With three accounts and three different bills coming to the house with three account numbers it is almost impossible to figure out what is going on! So we keep paying more and more money, but other accounts are paid passed what is owed I guess and others remain delinquent! I can't even DESCRIBE my problem it is so confusing!! The phone calls and letters about bills that I got 2 days prior are RIDICULOUS! NOT LATE BILLS, bills we JUST GOT. Then my mother in law comes over and starts tidying up the kitchen to find these notices, that make me look like someone who doesn't pay their bills. Real nice, thanks for that AES. |

I've recently noticed the monthly payment going up every month and it's not the terms we had agreed upon. Let's take their asses to court for these illegal changes they like to make to our/your loans. |

| I am in the process of contacting an attorney. E-mail me at [email protected]. I want to get as many AES customers together as possible for any type of lawsuit, petition, etc. to take a stand against AES. |

I want to be involved full force! I have been paying my loan with AES for 6 years now and my principal amount has only gone down 200 dollars. Please, if there is anything I can do to help, let me know. I have 2 other loans with 2 other companies and everything is upfront and clear with them. Why does AES have to be so shady, greedy, and sneaky. Its time to end all the stealing. They're stealing our money!!!

| I received a phony solicitation from them showing many, obviously deliberate, errors to my address and name. They claimed someone with a very phony sounding name had used me as a reference, and AES had determined my info was "incorrect" (duh) and could I contact the, to correct it. For someone else's reference. Hmmm. Isn't it against the law to use the US Postal service in this way? |
