I had a GE washer that I had bought in January of 2008. I have had problems with it since the day that I bought it. It has had everything from mold problems to holding water in the tub. The techs have been to my house on several different occasions.
This paticular time they sent a group of men from a place called A Reliable out of Chattanooga TN. They destroyed the washing machine. They were only suppose to replace the rubber piece around the door and they pretty much took the whole washer apart. I don't think they knew at all what they were doing.
The washer never worked again after they were here it started banging and making a burning smell and the next guy who came said that it would have to be replaced. Well, the people from A reliable refused to come back out to look at the washer and the warranty company drug it out for weeks. They just kept giving one excuse after another and would not replace it even though in my papers it says they have to replace it for one of a like kind.
They said they were going to give me the money I paid for it but then I would have to buy a new washer with another warranty and they would not give me the money left on my warranty that has 1 yr left on it. They are nothing but cheapscapes and here to rip people off. Never use GE or any of there products they do not care about there customers.
