Accelesales Visinow Classic Highly Polished Marketing Service Scam Houston, Texas

Accelesales initially contacted us 6 months ago under the name VisiNow. Their salesperson (who later turned out to be the company owner, customer-support person, and working staffer) displayed a great deal of knowledge about effective telemarketing and offered reasonably priced services with very professional process and reporting. We eventually hired them (they had changed their name to Accelesales) under a contract to provide 10 sales appointments via telemarketing/telesales calling for $2000, with an option to extend the contract. A written contract was completed and signed. Accelesales never delivered any appointments, but did give us 5 leads which were not properly vetted. It took a few weeks to realize they weren't delivering according to contract. When we asked for a refund, they told us we were in breach of contract but would be happy to resume calling. Since we realized we couldn't get our money back easily, we agreed, but they never delivered any further services and ended up sending a fake bankruptcy letter to us (complete with misspellings, incorrect dates, and other indications that they had no intention of going bankrupt legally.)
