On 9/18/2011 at around 9pm, My daughter, Mother, and I stopped at your station at McCormick Parkway and Hayden in Scottsdale Arizona. When we pulled up to the pump, my 70 year old mother got out to put seven dollars in gas out of her 20.00 dollar bill she had. As she walked in front of the car, the attendant looked at her very agitated that he had to stop what he was doing, He literally yelled at her about how much gas she wanted as he pull the money from her hand. My mother said 7.00, then he yelled at her seventy!? she said no, seven. He abruptly turned towards her and said if you talk to me that way again I will slap you down in your face! We were all shocked by this, my Mom said to give her back the money, and he refused. He came out of the booth yelling in a bizarre manner and flipped her off, and that he was not giving the money back. My daughter had to get out of the car to come between him and my mother because we were afraid he was going to hit her. Then he threatened to hit my daughter and take her out, were she replied you are going to hit a 17 year old girl? He then replied your not fucking 17, yeah right you are. My mom got into the car and I told my daughter to get back in the car, he followed my daughter back to car yelling at her. At this point I called the 911, the operator told us to stay there till the officers arrived. Meanwhile, other customers had come to see if we needed help. He yelled at another customer through the booth window and started banging on the window at him. The officers came. He told them that we pumped 34.25 in gas and he gave us our change of 3.00 dollars. In fact, he took the 20.00 dollars, and we did not pump any gas because he did not turn on the pump. And, 3.00 dollars would have not been the correct change anyways. The officer asked us to start the car and and he checked the gas gauge and it was still empty. So clearly, we did not put in 34.25 in gas, but without video surveillance the officers said it was his word against ours and they could do nothing. And, that we should contact 76 Corporate offices. Fortunately, I was able to capture some of your employees behavior on my cell phone. He walks out of the booth and says for us to "f*ck off". |
