Called to "verify listing information", had someone call back a half hour later to confirm the information. Mentioned some sort of business listing for $499.95. They record your second conversation but not your first one and then edit the second recording to sound like you agreed to a 2 year contract!!! Called back saying our payment was a month overdue and they HAD to get credit card information that very day, I told them no.
I looked that the "official" website, it looks terrible and we were not even listed on it. I called the Federal Trade Comission, they said that they are aware of these people and to not pay them a dime!!!
If you start receiving invoices from them, send back saying "Did not order, do not want, do not bill!"
If they call to harass you just hang up or leave them on hold for as long as possible :-). |

I filed a complaint with the Attorney General's office. They threatened to sue me in court if I didn't pay for online advertising they claim was bundled in hard copy advertising in the yellow page directory for our local phone book. The charge of $499.00 was growing to over $1, 220.00, because now they were adding collection and legal fees to the original amount. They said their attorney was going to file papers in court said they would see me in New York court if I didn't pay. There calls were unrelenting and to make them go away I paid my bill. They settled for $571.33. Don't pay them anything they are scam artists. |

Thanks for this information. They have been calling our office since April telling us we owe them $699. After trying to ignore them, I finally reported them to our State Attorney General. |

They claim one of my staff (who has no purchase authority) authorized advertising in November; received a bill in February 2012. Told them I did not authorize the advertising and that I did not intend to pay the bill.
They threatened to take me to court. I called the Federal Trade Commission and the NY State Attorney Generals office and filed complaints. Suggest any one who has been a victim to this activity file complaints and not give in to their threats/harrassment..

These people called our church, claiming we were overdue in our payment for the yellow pages listing. After threatening to ruin the church's credit, one of the ministers authorized a payment to come out of his personal account, before finding out this was a scam. Payment was stopped; however, they used a different name and again tried to remove funds from the checking account. The had actually called the church the week before, setting up their plan. At that time they requested no money and said someone would get back with the minister. What a shame! These people appear to be creative, intelligent and with a means to do business. It is unfortunate that they do not use these abilities towards an honest living. |
