Unethical and Unfair Business Practices

Yelp.com practices unethical and unfair business practices. I started my business, A Word's Worth Resume Writing and Career Coaching Service, New Egypt, NJ in 1989. Since then, I have received rave reviews on Google and on Yelp. However, one client posted a negative review on Yelp in 2011. The incident that sparked this negative review was resolved in my favor by the Better Business Bureau, to which I do not pay a membership fee but ranked my business with an A+ rating.

Yelp showcases the one negative review I received stemming from the incident that was resolved in my favor by the BBB, and filters the other 10 positive reviews, reguiring the viewer to click on the hidden "Filtered Reviews" section and enter two verification words. Yelp does not offer the consumer an accurate assessment of my business by showcasubg the one and only negative review I have received and hiding the 10 positive reviews.

Yelp had been asking us for money to advertise at their site. When we declined they removed most good reviews. They have also blocked all the good reviews that our loyal customers have posted in the past few months. They are trying to extort and hurt our business. Shame on Yelp for mafia tactics.
