I went to Ariza on 4/2008, Jeff Caladar(of course) told me that he was very positive that he can get me some work, as a matter of fact he said he had a job he's was working on in which I will be given a principle role to. Needless to say, he wanted me to have some photos taken (for other prospects, as he put it). I told him that I did not have $500.00 to give for the compcards/photos. So he agreed to let me pay $250.00 down and pay off the balance from the work I will be given.
Well, to this day 7/26/2011. Other than a extra on a tiger woods commercial on 5/2008, I have not worked, I would call every other week, until I realized that I was conned. As a matter of fact I was sent on only 4 Auditions total ( in the 3 years) and three of them (auditions) were unorganized and unprofessional. Oh, and speaking of unprofessional , the photos/compcards of me, are terrible,,,,,my makeup is bland , the shots and everything looks tacky . I don't even use them when I go to other auditions( not even the ones he sent me to) , I have other photos that I use, in which Jeff , of course wanted to call unprofessional,, but they look a whole lot better than the ones I took through him.
So right now I am out of $375.00 (down pay /extra). and No Work!. Jeff Caladar is rule, arrogant and very deceitful !. He is Not a people person at all!!! Every one that I spoke to, says the same thing. He has a very bad reputation with the industry, no one really wants to work with his agency. So if you know anyone trying to get in the business, Please tell them not to go to Ariza, unless they have money, hopes and dreams to throw away!
