Wyndham Resorts Wyndham Resorts Time Share Condos & Hotels, Cheated , Lied, Cheated More Orlando , Florida |

Last year in 2010 I was told by Wyndham that I never had deposited our points from 2009 and that I had lost that years travel, even though all the fees had been paid with auto- deductions from our credit union bank. For years, every year, I have been calling in to change the points to weeks, then to have them deposited with RCI, to use at a later time. When they were deposited in RCI I then also had to pay a fee to use them, but it was worth it doing this. Wyndham told us that we had not done so for 2009, but I did it, I called and did what I always do. There is no record, they day they have no record - I did not record the phone call, never occurred to me to do so, so it is now , my word against theirs. They said I did not deposit my points/ into weeks with RCI and deposit, but I know that I did . I don't have the name of the agent that I spoke with on the phone, nor time nor date, it never occurred to me that I would need to record that info. We have lost a full year, 105,000 points, for 2009 because Wyndham claims that I never did the conversion nor the deposit with RCI. I did do it. Also, as of this year, Wyndham has changed their rules and way of doing business and cancelled the program to change weeks to points to deposit with RCI. Now all I can do is deposit the points. That cuts our time share travel time in half, which doubles the cost of any travel we want to do. It also limits me to less than even a full week at most of their resorts without paying high fees, to = rent points = buy more points = borrow more points = it is one huge scam to force owners to Buy, Buy, Buy. I am now out a full year of already paid for travel time, and can no longer even get a weeks worth of travel because of this. I calculated the cost of each night when I was converting to weeks and depositing with RCI, even paying the fee to do this, and it was about $49 per night, now, having only the 105,000 points , that cost goes up to $99 per night minimum. My cost has doubled as of last January and my ability to travel has been cut to less than 1 week, when I had 4 prior this, so at least 1/4 of the travel has been taken away. It was not a great bargain in the first place, but it was ok. Now it is no bargain at all, quite the opposite. I want to dump this in what ever way we can, or just stop paying it.
