Wpromote- Social Boost, Impressions, but low traffic. Improper customer service, Internet |
26th of Sep, 2011 by User831854 |
I was searching online for a proper marketing company and i found wpromote. I spoke to a customer service rep by the name of "Jamae Fraser". She went on about how wpromote was a fortune 500 company and their Social Boost and Quick List options are one of the best on the internet. I signed up for the Quick List option, which sounded awesome at the time, but after about weeks of it I realized that Social Boost was simply an option that you can individually go to facebook.com and do it on your own. Instead they try to act like their company has a individual seo or ppc campaign of their own. They also use the Quick List option that you can go on google adwords and do yourself. The customer service reps have lack of knowledge of marketing other than what they're required to tell you. My reason for saying that is because the quick list option was not able to be used on my website for content reason, which I did not understand, because every other company was able to. When I called the social boost rep to ask if I can switch it over, after I added even more content, he told me that they were simply not going to do it for me. He also told me he wouldn't buy anything from my website if he went there, and I am not going to make any sales with it. He is the specific customer service rep for that option with the number: Social boost contact: 1.800.514.9469. A couple days later I called to cancel my service. Not only did I not make ANY traffic, I did not make sale either, from them! They didn't offer to give my money back, I just have this month left until its cancel. I wanted to simply cancel my service, and just get my money back. A good marketing company is , they're who I am with, and they made me sales overnight. I sell Ipads, unlocked phones, and many other electronic items. I make sales everyday from other marketing companies. I had only 2 ad posted on facebook all day long targeted to the people who are interested in my specific category. for $297 a month. scam. |

Dear Sir or Madame:
My name is Michael Block and I am the Chief Operating Officer at Wpromote. Firstly, I apologize if you were in any way dissatisfied with the service that you received from Wpromote. Secondly, I apologize for the delay in responding to this complaint. We only recently came across it. We take customer satisfaction very seriously at Wpromote and if you would like us to reevaluate your request for a refund, please feel free to contact me directly at mblock @ wpromote.com (spaces added to avoid spam).
Without any information about the website that you signed up, it is difficult for me to review your case. With our QuickList service, we run our clients' ads through Google AdWords and Microsoft adCenter; with our SocialBoost service, we run our clients' ads through Facebook Ads. From your complaint, I am unsure whether you signed up for QL, SB or both.
From your statement, "the quick list option was not able to be used on my website for content reason, " it leads me to believe that there may have been something about your site that was in violation of AdWords, adCenter or Facebook Ads policies (or all three). These policies are wide reaching and can be related to language on your site, the structure of your site or the product or service offered on your site. Unfortunately, there is nothing that we can do to circumvent these policies except make recommendations as to how to change the site. Regrettably, we cannot guarantee that these recommendations will alleviate policy issues with the advertising channel.
If your site was unable to run in AdWords, adCenter or Facebook Ads as a result of policy violations, I would very much like to reconsider your refund. In no way do we wish to take money from clients for whom we are unable to deliver service. Thank you for taking the time to express your concerns; I hope that you will contact me our our customer support team so that we can resolve the issue amicably for you.
Michael Block
Chief Operating Officer
