Le Cordon Bleu Unfair practice, unkept promises, not interest of students Orlando, Florida |
5th of Jan, 2012 by User628923 |
My nephew and two friend came to Orlando Florida after been offered a career at Le Cordon Bleu. $500 dollars apartment, scholarships, etc. They were forced to arrivefrom Puerto Rico 12 days ahead of time because the employee was leaving on vacation.Uon arrival they were charged extra for staying in the apartmets, the rent went from 500 to 569, plus 300 deposit. They were placed in different complex. The girl was placed in a girls apartment but a guy was living there making her unconfortable, the guys with pot smokers. When complained they were move but when they asked to cancel the contract so they could find an apartment they were willing but no money was going to be refunded $2100 total. They were not suppose to leave PR until an admission test was given to them, not done. They took he test 5 days after arriving with all the issues going around. THey were told that they were not students until after the 6 day of school. (They have been living already in the apartments) They take the test and failed. Staff personnel suggested them to take the test via internet. They did and passed the test. But later on were accused of not been honest. They forced them take the third test, totally differen and specifially for them, they failed. Nephew and friend decided not to continue studiying. Directo offered to return 65% of expenses but apartment rental. Separate business. Later they call and sugested for them to move becuase they were not student. After interview with attorney, they should remain in the apartments since they paid it already as non students. or reimbursement of money. Cordon Bleu hides behind Collegiate Housing making them as a separate entity, but whey they have an office and free access to Cordon Bleu campus? Puertorricans do not send your kids to Cordon Bleu of Orlando. THis is not the first case. Researching for more cases similar at this one. |
