World Link Finance Inc Sent me a check and told me to cash before I would receive the bigger check. New York, New York |
26th of Dec, 2011 by User566302 |
I received a letter along with a check in the amount of $3,879.00 payable to me and called the file agent's number listed on the letter and was told to deposit the check and then call back tomorrow so they can arrange for the receipt of the certified check in the amout of $68,000. We contacted Publishers Clearing House and they said this was a scam and not to deposit the check because they would then have all of our checking account information. |

Received a check today in the amount of $3878.00 from World Link Investment Inc, in New York. Letter told me I was a lucky winner in the second category of the North American Lottery Sweepstakes and a Compensation Draw Sweepstakes held on March 19th, 2012. I called the File Agent (on the letter) "Mark Adams" @ 1-647-719-5665 and he told me to 'deposit' the check in my account. I told him I would after calling the bank on the check: Foundation Bank in Bellevue, Wa. All of a sudden "the line disconnected". I knew then it was a scam. So I googled Foundation Bank and saw that they were 'real' until I looked at the address on the check, and the address for Foundation Bank online. They were 'similar' but not exactly the same. Of course, they were closed when I called them. So finally I googled "World Link Investment Inc" and they are one of the biggest SCAMS...don't get caught up with these jokers...but I must admit, 'they sure have a good looking check!" |

I also received a check in the amount of $3578.09 from World Link Investment Inc. in New York. Called "Mark Adams" @ 1-647-719-5665 and told me to deposit the check into my account and once I did to call him back. But after reading all comments, i tore it up. People are crazy in the world, and just think they can scam people out of there money. Please do not cash the check cause it won't clear, and yes its very tempting. Tx |
