Workmen's Auto Insurance Compaany coronado claims services No return calls after calling for 2 months Los Angeles , California

Had an accident in October 2010 with someone insured with Workmen's/Coronado. The other driver was 100% at fault and a Workmen's adjuster told me that they would reimburse my auto ins. since I called my insurance immediately. I know AAA, State Farm, All State, Geico, etc; but I was not familiar with Workmen's. I was also injured in the accident and told them I would be seeking medical attention if the pain did not resolve in a few days. They said that I could so so and told me contact someone handling the bodily claims issue. I saw a doctor and another Workmen's adjuster told me to have the bills sent to them. My Dr.'s office tried contacting them and their calls were never returned. I needed a rental car and my rental car company did not receive any returned calls for 2 months and now the are coming to me for payment. I have called them several times from November until now, and have yet to receive a phone call back. My car was totaled in the accident, so I had to get another vehicle, which is why I needed to get a rental car until I purchased another. I understand if the driver had minimal liability as required by the state of CA. However, would or could they tell me if the the property loss claim had been maxed out due to totaling my car and that I would have to either cover the rental myself or take the other driver to small claims court on my own??? All I am getting is frustration over unreturned phone calls and bills piling up that they are not responding to. I would never use this company due to the way i have been treated. Next step for me is the BBB!!
