| Jim Wooten was hired to work on 2 vehicles owned by my son. One vehicle he had us tow to his house, where he said he would work on it. He failed to provide any written estimates. My son paid him for parts for the first vehicle, and for the one that was towed to his house, he was paid $500 cash for an engine rebuild. During the 4 1/2 months he had the vehicle, he would tell us he was working on it, but he was busy. At one point, he told us the engine had been rebuilt, was running great, but there was a problem with the transmission. This transmission had been rebuilt about 2 years prior. He told us the shop who replaced the tranny had used one that didn't fit, and that the guy had drilled holes in the flex plate. After a while, he stopped answering his phone. Calls were not returned. Then when we would call his son, Zack Wooten, who also works the business, he'd either not answer, not return calls, or if he accidentally answered, he'd simply hang up. We received a notice in late July, 2011, that the vehicle that was supposed to be at his house had been towed, and that it would be auctioned off on August 15, 2011. Both my son and I called, and again, no answer, hung up on, etc. The one call back my son received (they refused to call me) was to inform him that they were going to wait for the auction to "buy it back, cuz it's cheaper". But they didn't receive any notices and had no idea when it would be auctioned off. And, even if they did buy it back at auction, it shouldn't have to have happened, AND we would still be responsible for the balance of the impound fees. When we paid to get the car out of impound, we also had to have a new key made, which required a new ignition switch. The car was full of crap, clothing, papers, ZigZags, beer bottles, trash, etc. There was a beer can in the engine compartment. We had it towed to a reputable shop. They took one look at it and said that they hadn't even opened the engine. All they had done was removed the radiator and left it in the bed of the truck. They took $1,300 from my son, and have done nothing on either car. They were responsible for one, and allowed it to be towed, costing us close to $1,500, not to mention the tickets the car had gotten that were simply tossed into the front of the truck. They lied to us, they knew they weren't working on the car when they told us they were and had. They are guilty of conversion of the car, since they allowed someone else to take it without our consent. They defrauded us out of about $1,300, as well as costing us another $1,500. They also use the name "OC Mobile Mechanic". That is a name that has been used by over 20 years for a reputable mobile mechanic in Orange County. They get people to hire them based on Nick's reputation, then rip them off. |

| When you gave us "$1300 dollars" for a deposit on $5000.00 dollars worth of repairs we told you we would get started on it and you or your son would have to come up with the rest of the money by the time we finish or if we needed more part money. after a week we called and informed them that we needed more money to keep going on the one car that needed a motor...they simply said we are broke and have no money we said thats ok but we need money soon bec your car is taking up our spot for more money. A MONTH AND A HALF LATER STILL NO MONEY... so they give me 1300 bucks for 5000 dollars in repairs not to include the storage of the car for 2 months while they bitched about there car not being finished...ALL I HAVE TO SAY IS THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOUR CUSTOMER RUNS OUT OF MONEY!!!WE TRIED TO BE THE NICE GUYS AND GIVE THEM SOME TIME AND THEY WANTED US TO FINISH IT ALL THEN PAY US IN PAYMENTS...ONE PROBLEM EVERY TIME I HAVE DONE THIS IN THE PAST THEY VANISH AND SO DOES MY MONEY AND HARD LABOR!!! |

| I had almost exactly the same thing happen with my RV. These guys are unbelievable!!! Not on ly is there no evidence of any work being done, they trashed it and ABANDONED it alongside the road 30 miles away and it was only by lick did I find it. They used phony addresses on the bogus invoices but I tracked them down to 22605 Via Tercero, Mission Viejo, CA 92691-1839 because they dropped a letter in the RV. All the supposed "favors" they do for you, not returning phone calls and phony work and a lot of damage to the RV, not to mention days and days of me having to search for the RV and then finding it alongside the road, abandoned and open, let alone the stress, these guys must be stopped. I went through a trail of pissed off people that were ripped off by them to track them down and plan to take them to court. |

| these two customers both ran out of money!!!They say i ripped them off...well the guy with the r.v is crazy...his r.v had no brakes and no brake fluid or hydraulic fluid in his r.v. I fixed his brake lines and his master cylinder i rebuilt. I called and informed the r.v needed more work but i haD GOTTEN THE R.V TO THE POINT WHERE IT CAN BE DRIVEN AND THE BRAKES WORK BUT TO FIX THE R.V ANY FURTHER WE NEEDED MORE MONEY!!!THE CUSTOMER THROUGH A FIT AND SAID HE HAD NO MORE MONEY FOR US TO FIX HIS R.V FOR HIM...HE WANTED US TO DRIVE AND DROP IT OFF AT HIS WORK...WHEN HE TREATED US LIKE WE WERE RIPPING HIM OFF ON HIS R.V WE HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO STOP ALL WORK ON THE R.V WHEN A CUSTOMER ACCUSES US OF THINGS LIKE THIS...ON TOP OF IT ALL HE CALLED THE COPS AND GAVE THEM A FALSE REPORT THAT WE STOLE HIS R.V??????????YA HE CALLED THE COPS AND TOLD THEM THE R.V WAS STOLEN...AFTER ALL THE HARD WORK WE DID ON THE R.V WE GOT TREATED LIKE WE WERE PIECES OF CRAP. SO AT THIS POINT I HAD DONE ALL I COULD DO TO BE A NICE GUY I CALLED THE CUSTOMER WITH THE R.V AND TOLD HIM TO COME PICK UP THE R.V BEC I AM NOT DRIVING IT WITH A REPORT OUT THAT THE R.V WAS "STOLEN"...THE CUSTOMER WAS INFORMED THAT THE R.V WAS IN DANA POINT BY THE WEST DOCK AND IT NEEDED TO BE PICKED UP AND I GATHERED MY TOOLS AND LEFT IT RIGHT WHERE IT WAS...THE CUSTOMER GETS IT BACK WITH THE BRAKES FIXED!!!HYDRAULIC LINES FIXED!!! AND THE POWER STEERING WAS FIXED AND NONE OF THESE SYSTEMS WORKED AT ALL WHEN I FIRST LOOKED AT THE R, V SO HE GOT IT ALL FIXED AND HE IS ON THIS SITE CLAIMING I RIPPED HIM OFF...IF I WANTED TO RIP HIM OFF OR IF I DID RIP HIM OFF I WOULD OF NOT FIXED NOTHING ON HIS R.V...FRAUD IS WHEN YOU TAKE THE MONEY FOR A SERVICE AND YOU TAKE THE MONEY AND RUN AND NEVER GIVE ANY SERVICE...WELL ALL MY CUSTOMERS GET THERE MONEYS WORTH FOR MY SERVICE EVEN IF THE JOB IS NOT COMPLETE...IT DOES NOT MEAN I NEVER DID ANY WORK!!!THAT IS WHY THESE CUSTOMERS ARE SOO CRAZY!!! |

i will say it one more time this lady is crazy they wanted a motor rebuild for next to free i have to be paid for my time, labor, parts and storage of the one car for 6 months!!!she was also supposed to help my dad with some lawyer work and she did nothing at all...i did a certain amount of work on both cars but i did not finish the cars because i have finished cars in the past for people and when it comes time to pay they just don't have it!!!she says i ripped her off and she tells everyone watch out...well i have 30 customers from this past month and they are all happy with there cars running and i could use them for references...AND THEY ALL GOT THE PARTS THAT WERE NO GOOD AND SAW ME PUTTING ON THE NEW PARTS!!!
SHE IS THE ONE WHO IS A FRAUD!!!AND WE ONLY WORK ON CARS BUSINESS TO BUSINESS THAT'S WHY THE BAR HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS OR ANY OTHER COMPANY TRUCKS CARS OR FORKLIFTS I WORK ON AND I WORK ON BOATS IN THE SUMMER!!!Crazy lady wants her cars fixed for free??????would you fix her cars for next to nothing???? |
