** June 2011, Major Fraud Alert ** - John S. Lee, Thief, runs a website called Windowsmore.com to find victims to commit fraud against. John S. Lee, Thief, pretends to be a window salesman and writes orders complete with Milgard and other's factory literature. Then demands a large or full deposit to secure "discount" pricing. That's when the excuses begin. First with incorrect order problems, then with factory problems, then with installer schedules, all in an effort to delay the enevitable, your money is gone! Then you can't get a hold of him after all the excuses, it appears at about the 90 day mark is when the ball drops. Then your done and no more contact. He also seems to be able to keep stocked up on real factory literature some how, to pass out to unsuspecting victims. He is also very knowledgable about window installations. This what makes this con artist scary. That he is invited to your home and has full Milgard and other factory price books, literature and everything. He even shows up in an embroidered shirt with his company name, measures all your windows and inspects them all just to appear more professional. He was obviously a window salesman somewhere and went rogue. Even this guy's wife is in on it, she drives him from one scam appointment to another. After clicking on the free in home estimate, John S. Lee, Thief, contacted me and made an appointment. I ended up contracting with him to buy several windows and a french door for approximatley $6000-$7000. My check was cashed the same or next day. He said that it had to be paid upfront to secure "special factory pricing" that was expiring on his website tommorow. And it was on his website. And 4-5 week delivery was to be expected in the industry. One excuse after another up to the 90 day mark and then the line goes dead and no more responses by e-mail. The only thing left to do is to refer the matter to an attorney friend and the Law Enforcement Fraud Division. This is definitely straight up fraud; John S. Lee, Thief, and his accomplice wife belong in jail. If you have done business with John S. Lee, Thief, your money is already gone! |
