On behalf of our
sons, we rented a property managed by Wilgus Associates, Inc. in Bethany Beach, DE.They also manage rentals in Georgetown and Lewes, DE. Theyseized alleged damages in the amount of approximately $330.00 from our credit
card, without our authorization. At
this point we don't even know exactly why they billed us, or the reason for the
charges.

Wilgus ignored our
multiple oral and written requests for the following information, which theyare required to provide under Delaware law before charging any penalty:

line item detail of the alleged damage to the premises and the cost of repairs;

Wilgus also
ignored our requests for:

dated before and after pictures of the damages that they alleged, especially to the carpets; evidence to demonstrate that the disposal that they alleged was broken, was working when we took possession and broken when we left; paid receipts demonstrating that Wilgus actually paid for the repairs and other charges for which they charged us.

We can only assume
from Wilgus's failure to provide even the most basic substantiation-- and their refusal to engage in any meaningful dialogue-- that these charges are
fabricated and baseless. That Wilgus proceeded to charge our credit card knowing that we disputed the
charges and without giving us the information we requested further reflects bad
faith and improper dealing.

Since Wilgus refused to provide the information that we requested, we disputed these
charges and denied any liability for the charges. The alleged charges were paid only because Wilgus automatically and without authorization put the charges on our credit
card.I will not do business with them again, but beware the bogus "damages" charges if you do rent from Wilgus Associates, Inc.
