LET ME EXPLAIN THE SCAM AND CON:
FYI-Prior to start writingthis scam, I googled Mr. Martinovs name and came to find out he is a TAX CHEAT and owes the CA state franchise board over $400,000. (it's on many different web pages) With that said...lets begin..
Tim Martinov (AKA: Artem Martinov) has a company called eMotors LLC. (among others, Car detailing, Internet Marketing etc. )They claim the can find any car you want for a good price, clean title and Full Warranty. Sounds good right? After contacting Mr. Martinov, (or one of his sleazy associates) requests a deposit of$500-1,000 as in good faith for them locating and finding youa vehicle.Once the money exchanges hands consider yourself at the begining stages of being screwed. You will NEVER I repeat NEVER get this money back under any circumstances. ("employee quit" "I have no knowlege of any transaction" etc, etc.)This is a typical Russian business moto...."L-E-V-E-R-A-G-E-. Your money will be taken for essentially having them do nothing. They don't even have the vehicle (or whatever is being sold) and claim they "can get it for you". It basically in a sense is a "ponzi scheme" in Tims case he can sometimes find you a car from auction...BUT here is the kicker, most of the cars he sells are salvaged titles or need major body work. Remember Mr. Martinov has to make the highest profit for the lowest cost. Most of his vehicles are fixed and repaired at chop shops in Concord, Pleasant Hill, Martinez, Lafayette California. Although YOU the buyer do not know that. Most bought in terrible condition, or at auctions.
Mr. Martinov is very crafty of taking a salvaged vehicle or one that has been in an automobile accident and making it clean. What does he do? He goes to carfax.com pulls up the legit vehicle history and completely copies and pastes over ALL the issues the vehicle has seen, then shows this to the buyer. Since he now has the "clean" vehicle history report in hand. 99 percent of his buyers will not look at the history report themselves. (seriously) His "warranty" is nothing but a cheap "refurbishing" job. He wont replace or fix anything, whatsoever. He will claim he did but yet are you really going to take your tires off to see if your breaks were fixed or replaced? Or yourtake apart your transmission, to see if a new kit was put in?Mostlikely NO!!! (example)
Point is here people...Stay far clear from this guy in terms of business. PERIOD! Unless you want a headache or get the run around, don't do business with him, on ANY level. i am not the only one who has been screwed over here. Save yourself from insanity and stay AWAY from these type of business operations. |
