Wildflowers and Bugs Toothpicks and Broomsticks dishonest vendor of woodcraft signs Syracuse, New York |
26th of Dec, 2010 by User911630 |
on 12/4/10 I attended the Holiday Craft fair at the Fredericksburg, VA expo center and was duped by this vendor. He is very friendly and professional and exhibits beautiful wood craft signs. He promised Christmas delivery on sign I ordered for my father. I have since come to find out that many others have had issues with this vendor. Thanks to a post from Denise of VA beach, I contacted the attorney general of NY for consumer fraud and protection of the Syracuse division. That office knew who I was talking about before I ever said the name of the company. They asked that I file an official complaint right away. The office was very helpful. Here is their contact information:
Attorney General Andrew Cuomo
State of NY Bureau of consumer frauds and Protection
615 Erie Boulevard, Suite 104
Syracuse, NY. 13204
(315) 448-4800
Please spread the word about this vendor so that he gets shut down.

This vendor was at the RV Show in Springfield, MA in Feb. 2011 and I ordered a sign for my son as a wedding present and was promised delivery and have not received it to date. Myy check was cashed and a $100 cash payment was given as deposit. This type of deceptive business practices is dispicible and this beast needs to be shut down and made accountable for his deception. |

I have a similar situation. No fulfillment of order, no response to emails or telephone messages, Nothing! I ordered a plaque at the Newport Folk Festival last year (2010) and am going to attend the 2011 fest ival. I kinda hope that they are there, so I can deal with the assholes directly. It's not going to be pleasant. I've printed all of the complaints against them and will hand them out at the festival; maybe that will get my lousy $83.41 back. |

Similar situation, WildflowersandBugs are George Kise took my $80 plus dollars and never delivered. My purchase was at the Vermont Home and Garden Show. I'm really surprised they did not vet these people better than that. I am infuriated. |

I purchased a sign on October 29th at a craft fair at the Hunterdon County fairgrounds and so far he hasn't delivered. After a simple google search, I am now concerned that that I've been scammed. Luckily I paid with an Amex so hopefully I can get my money back. Unfournately one bad apple ruins it for everyone because now I'll be much more careful at all future craft fairs. |

George of Wildflowers and Bugs/ House sign studio got me too. I purchased a custom sign for my new home June 2011 at a craft fair in Milford, CT. I paid $176.00 on my credit card thinking that protected me from slime balls like this piece of work. Well, our friend, George knows full well that the statute of limitations for credit card fraud is only 60 days. He told me (and many other unsuspecting fun loving craft goers) that the project would take 12-14 weeks as he and his wife were travelling. After a number of months I contacted him via phone and email and was told it would be arriving. Yes, a sign did arrive, but NOT what was ordered. I had to return that sign, of course, at my own expense. He then told me he never rec'd the returned item. UPS does give receipts and tracking info. After that, NOTHING.
When you meet our good buddy, George, he seems unassuming, sincere, and a little like the 90 pound weakling. Who would imagine a master thief lurked in that toady little body! |
