Please accept this as a MAJOR warning about a corrupt advertising company called WHITE DIGITAL MEDIA. White Digital Media's magazines include Supply Chain Digital,
Manufacturing Digital, Energy Digital, Construction Digital, Food and
Drink Digital, Stockmarket Digital, Heathcare Digital, Technology
Digital, Retail Digital, African Business Review, Business Review
Australia, Business Review Canada, Business Review Europe, Latino
Business Review, Business Review India, Business Review Europe and Exec
Digital. The problem is that NONE OF THESE MAGAZINES exist. Companies across the world are being scammed into buying advertising space in these business magazines and they told that they don't actually get printed. Our company got scammed by White Digital Media for $4500. We were told on the phone that the magazine was real, however, when we paid our bill and asked to see a copy of the magazine by White Digital Media, we were told that it doesn't get printed, but we could see our advert online. We were amazed! We had been conned into buying expensive advertising in something that didn't exist! We have spoken to the Police who admitted that they were aware of White Digital media and have received numerous complaints about them. It seems that we are not the only company in Australia who is getting scammed out of thousands of dollars worth of money. We've done some research on White Digital Media and here's a similar story to ours: "I don't know if this forum can get my money back
from these scammers, but I hope that it can save other people from the
con men at White Digital Media.
We are a plumbing company with our Head Office in sunny Brisbane,
Australia. In October 2010, we received an advertising sales call from a
company called White Digital Media, about a magazine called
Construction Digital. We'd never heard of it, but it sounded ok.
The sales guy on the phone was very good, but he conned us into
believing that Construction Digital was a real magazine, but it's FAKE!!
I am so angry because we paid top dollar to advertise in this magazine
that didn't even exist. I called White digital media to complain and
they refused any refund. Our company lost $8000 to the white digital
media scam.
White
scammed us into booking advertising space in a magazine that doesn't
even get printed! What the h*ll? It's a complete scam and the sooner
they are closed down, the better.
White Digital Media are operating a complete scam and as they are based
off shore, we've been told by Office of Fair Trading that we can't get
our money back. But selling advertising in a magazine that doesn't get
printed?!? It's illegal isn't it?
After further research, White Digital Media produce Construction Digital and Manufacturing Digital, both of which are scams.
Maybe in hindsight we should have realised by the name of the phoney
magazine. Construction DIGITAL. Manufacturing DIGITAL. But anyway, White
Digital Media don't tell you this on the phone. The order form doesn't
state it's a pdf magazine, and not a real one. In my opinion, White
Digital Media are thieves.
White Digital Media have blatantly refused any refund, so I hope this
message helps other companies in case they get a call about White
Digital Media or any of their fake magazines"
THE SOONER SOMEONE CLOSES DOWN WHITE DIGITAL MEDIA AND LOCKS THE B*STARDS UP THE BETTER. This company is entirely fraudulent, unethical and immoral. How they sleep at night I will never know. Ripping off Australian companies and continuing their scam without caring for anyone else. $4500 is a lot of money to our company - but White Digital Media don't care. They continue their con day by day. I hope the international authorities shut this entirely fraudulent company down quickly, before other companies fall for the White Digital Media advertising scam.

| I was also scammed by these crooks. They conned one of my clients in to giving up their vendor list, then called the vendors to guilt trip us into 'sponsoring' our client's article. what a waste of money. white digital media is a shady company with their sleezy way of selling overpriced advertising. from what i hear, the owner, glen white is a real bastard too. |

Didn't you read the insertion order before you signed up? It states right in there that they are digital and White DIGITAL Media doesn't print anything. Are you saying you agreed to pay $4500 to advertise with them, and paid them, without knowing what you were paying for? With practices like that, maybe you shouldn't be in business?
Another thing, according to you, because its not printed 'it doesn't exist? Hello... welcome to the digital age. I guess this post doesn't exist either? It's not printed, so it doesn't exist...makes perfect sense. Ever hear of the ipad, Kindle, Nook, iphone, smartphone and all the other 'digital' readers?
There are so many holes in your story, hmmmm... just sayin'. |
