We too, my wife and I started the so called "Remodification Process" in 11/09. We complied with all of A.S.C. requirements and kept in touch on a weekly basis as instructed. This process continued for several months, and each month we had to fax them additional information in which nothing changed. Also each time we spoke with a person at A.S.C. we could not speak with the same one person. In 3/10 A.S.C. claimed we got lost in their system and we had to start from zero again. So again we faxed A.S.C. all documents again. Once they had our information again a rep told us everything looked good and in fact she told us we were approved for the modification. At the start of the entire process we had still been making our monthly payments and out of nowhere all the funds were returned to us includinga phone call. The rep told us that A.S.C. cannot accept any payments during the modification process. We received official sheriff sale / foreclosure papers and the victim was not Wells argo or A.S. C. it was U.S. BANK NATIONAL ASSOCIATION. These folks did own our mortgage. We asked for proof of ownership of our mortgage. Total scam we have filed complaints with Pa. attorney General office and the Federal Trade Commission. Still fighting our as** off. Is there any other help out there ?
