Florida Fine Cars I'll Take Your Money and Sell You Crap! HOLLYWOOD, Florida |

I purchased a used volvo at Florida Fine Cars on a Saturday. I test drove the car and it seemed fine. The very next day when I started up the car, the "check engine" light came on. On Monday when I got it the car to go to work, the drivers seat broke. I took it to my usual Volvo repair guy and had him do a diagnostic. The diagnostic came back with various stuff that needed to be fixed. The transmission fluid was black, and the car had not been serviced in over 30,000 miles. The car's computer had been re-wired to bypass certain functions and it needed other work as well. It would cost me $2,000.00 to fix all the things wrong with the car. The salesman told me that they offer a 90 day warranty on all interior and exterior things that needed fixing. I took the car back to the dealer and he said he was not responsible for any of the issues. I would expect a dealer to stand by his product but clearly these guys are just ripping off the public. |

My father who is 84 years old purchased a 2006 BMW 330XI in March of 2011. The staff was friendly and helpful. We finalized the deal on a Saturday and were told to go have some dinner and come back for the car since they wanted to wash it and make it look nice. Well, three weeks to the day my father was talking to a mechanic who our family deals with. This is a reputable mechanic and deals with many high end cars. He told my father that he should not drive the car since the tires were in dangerous condition and he could get into a serious accident. My father could not believe what he was hearing. We contacted Florida Fine Cars to let them know of our dilemma and were told that the car was as is. No emotion or no help was provided. We will never ever purchase a car from this dealership again. They are liars and tricksters. We are positive that when we went to dinner the tires were exchanged for tires that were of less quality (although they looked good). Beware of this dealership. |
