I ordered a LG Rumor 2 phone in December of 2010 from Virgin Mobile with expedited shipping.It was suppost to be on my doorstep within 48 hours instead it was delivered on Christmas Day three weeks after I had ordered it and had been charged for rush shipping. As if this was not enough when I went to activate it after not having any source of communication for three weeks the phone would not activate. So now it was Christmas and I still had no telephone because it was the holliday and rep offices were closed. It took a month of customer service calls to get it turned on and I wish I never had. I would top up this phone and take ten minutes or more time just trying to get through their terrible automated system that would hang up more times than it would direct you to the right department. After six months I decided to just get a LG Rumor 2 from Sprint and cut my ties with Virginmobile. When my contract expired I decided to try Virgin again to try to save a little money to make a dent in my other bills and once again same problem. This phone was brandnew, box kept, there is not a scratch on it and no physical dammage, it has never even been dropped on the ground and Virgin Mobile swore for two weeks my phone was the reason it would not activate. This phone has been topped up and will not activate. Once again a loss of a lot of money. I talked to a suprevisor who said he was investigating the matter and would call me back within 72 hours, he never called back. I talked to another supprevisor who said that the problem was not the phone but the meid number itself and that he would get back to me within the day, he never did. The third time I requested to speak to a supprevisor this month the customer rep. did not want to transfer me to a supprevisor she demanded that she could help me but after three weeks of the same exact procedures to try and activate this phone I knew a supprevisor was my only hope. She told me atleast 6 times that her supprevisor was busy and she could help and every time I told her that is fine and I will hold she repeated herself, never put me on hold and after ten or twenty minutes finally got me a supprevisor. This third suprevisor said he would call me within 73 hours I even verified he had the right email and phone line and he never called. At this point I am calling my 40.00 top ups a loss and taking a sledge hammer to this nightmare phone that came straight from their warehouse. Take your money to Verizon, they have top notch security, no more than five minutes wait time and their automated system is actually compotent. Cheals.Taneytown,Maryland |
