Vanderbilt Mortgage carries no accountability for their employees, back at the end of 2010 I found out that my mortgage was three months in default, long story, my fault, I had had problems before and a really nice man by the name of Matt always worked with me anytime I had problems, single mom, one income, anyway...when I found out about this I called Vanderbilt and talked to a person named curtis, he was rude, degrading, and just plain arrogant, told me that I would have to have all three payments within a weeks period or my house would be forclosed upon, well being a single mom with mortgage payments of 517 a month there was no way I could do it within a week, I told him that I could send him an amount today which was about a third of the payments and he told me not to send it that he had to have the full amount by that date or the house would be forclosed upon, well I told him their was no way I could do it so if that is what they had to do then I guess that is what they had to do, I did not receive any other communication from them until the loan was in default over 6 months , then they wanted me to come up with more money, told them i could have a certain amount by a certain date, they would not accept that, then son and daughter in law tried to purchase the loan from me, they were told that they could put 1200 down on the house and assume payments, but they would have to make up the arrearages, also, they then were denied, Vanderbilt called them back a few days later asking for more money, told my children two weeks ago that it would only take 1850.00 to reinstate the loan, I talked to them last friday and they told me it would take almost 6000.00 to reinstate the loan, the repossession paperwork was filed on June 2, 2011, but they have yet to set a court date, they are continuely trying to get different amounts of money from different people, and while I had my house rented, they gave out personal and financial information to my renters before asking my permission and then when I refused to give permission they still gave out personal informatin on my account, I gave them permission to speak to my children while they were trying to get the house bought, but then after they were denied Vanderbilt still continued to contact them....differenet person, different story, every time you talk to someone....If their are any class action lawsuits against Vanderbilt I would like to be contacted about how to join the suit... |
