US Mortgage Funding We were charged $1750.00 to help modify our loan. After 7 months BAC states they have not heard from them. BAC is now going to

We contacted US Mortgage Funding to help us refinance our home to a more a manageable amount. We were doing this because of my husbands need for high cost medicines. They told us it would cost $1750.00. Which was paid in two installments. They advised us not to make a payment on our loan as that would nullify what they were doing. They only kept in contact with us by e-mail. Phone calls from us were never answered. I would usually only get an e-mail if I got angry and sent an aggressive e-mail. Then they would send one back saying everything was going as planned. I have kept all the e-mails I received and sent. Bank of America has kept sending letters about foreclosure and these were e-mailed to US Mortgage Funding. Today, Nov. 17, BAC called and told us that they did not know that there was a third party involved in the process of refinancing. BAC also stated that at this time our loan is not looking good for refinancing. When I tried to contact USFunding again that is when I discovered that they have been turned in for scam.
