Unlimited Local Savings This company took funds out of my account unauthorized in the amount of $49.99 Waco, Texas |

I was searching online for a payday loan and I started to apply for one but cancelled the transaction. I called the company that I had contacted online to make sure the cancellation of that transaction went through. They confirmed it did. I continued on as if everything was ok, using my debit card for minor purchases etc... I called my bank to check my checking account balance on Sunday Jan.23,2011 only to find out that it was over drawn. I went immediately online to see what was going on. There was a check drawn on my account on Jan.16,2011 for the amount of $49.99. This check was processed Jan.18,2011. The check number was completely out of my check sequence. I then contacted my bank to inform them that there was a draft on my account that I had not authorized. Never even heard of " United Local Savings ". I also incurred $68.00 in NSF fees along with returned items. This was really upsetting me. My bank asked if I had applied for a loan online and stated that my account information had possibly been compromised. The bank waived the NSF fees and advised me to close my account and open another one. This really angered me because I have had this account for a years and it is situated to make things more convenient for me. The bank also did a funds reversal on that rotten transaction as well but, I think that may have been the result of me asking the bank if they could get my money back from those crooks that stole it. (You know when you talk to bank personnel the calls are recorded) they said no they couldn't. I guess after our conversation they had a change of heart plus a recorded admission of something the said they couldn't do in reality they could. Thank you Lord!! A word to the wise : BE VERY CAREFUL WITH YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION ESPECIALLY ONLINE.
