Like several others who have posted complaints on the site, I have had the worst experience of my professional life with K & B Transport. I chose to work at K & B because their hiring process was fast and they promised descent pay and hometime. They portrayed themselves as a very "family friendly" company. It did not take long to figure out that what they promised and what they delivered were two different things. I was driving dedicated for the southeast division, Sara Lee, out of a Macon, Georgia. I had been home briefly, and as always, I parked my truck at the Sara Lee terminal for my two days at home. While home, I started having
chest pains. I went to the hospital and was written out of work for several days. I was never fired and I never quit. As a matter of fact, I returned to pick up my truck and ran as normal until I was told that the company had lost the account for Sara Lee. At that time I was given the option to go back OTR, apply with another trucking company or take a severance package which was minimal. I chose to leave the company. Upon applying with another company, I found out that K & B listed two accidents, which never occurred. They said that I left my truck at an unauthorized location without permission and several other violations that never took place. Not only that, but I've checked my DAC several times since leaving K & B and it keeps changing. What K & B has reported on my DAC is the sole reason that I have been unable to get another truck driving job with a descent company. They have out-right lied and that has caused me to be unable to support myself & my family at times. I have read complaint after complaint about other drivers dealings with this company. There must be something that can be done about this companies obvious lack of integrity and their blatant violations of employee rights. TO WHOM EVER READS THIS REPORT I QUIT K&B TRANSPORT IN 2008 AND IT IS 2011 AND THEY ARE STILL CAUSIN FAMILY ISSUIES WITH INFORMATION THEY PLACED ON DAC DAC SHOULD HOLD SUM KIND OF PROOF OF INFORMATION CLAUSE IN THERE REPORTING COMPANY CAN DO WHAT THEY WANT AND SAY WHAT THEY WANT WITH NO PROOF OF BOURDEN EVEN IN COURT OF LAW PROOF HAS TO BE MEET NOT JUSTRA FAX AND THEN BAM GUILTY K&B NEEDS TO LEARN A LESSION ABOUT RIGHT AND WRONG AND DAC SHOULD TAKE NOTESIT IS CRAZY THAT THIS COMPANY CAN SAY WHAT EVER THEY WANT TO DISCREDIT A DRIVERS HISTORY AND WE CANT FIGHT IT I FEEL FOR EVERY DRIVER THAT DRIVES OR HAS DRIVINFER K&B TRANSPORT OR WESTERN LIVESTOCK THEY ARE THE WORST COMPANY EVER TO ROLL 18 WHEELS WITH THERE NAME ON ITTHEY ROB AND DISTCREEDIT DRIVER INDANGER THERE LIFES AND EVERY ONES ON THE ROAD AND HIGHWAYS AND THE LAW ALOWES THEM TO GO ON LIKE THIS WERE ARE DRIVERS RIGHTS,DRIVERS RIGHTS HAVE BEEN VIOLATED FER YEARS BYE THIS COMAPNY WHEN IS ENOUIGH ENOUGH I ASK YOU ? THEY NOT ONLY HURT GOOD DRIVERS BUT HURT THE PROFITABILITY OF THERE FAMILYS IN THE LONG RUN ONE BAD DAC REPORT CAN COST A FAMILY THERE LIFESTYLE ,HOUSE CAR EVEN THERE KIDS FER LACK OF MONEY DRIVERS NEED TO UNIGHT AND FIGHT THEM WITH A IRION FIST AND THE DRIVERS WE SEE TODAY AND TOMOROW ARE THERE NEXT VICTOMS |
