United Van Lines
United Van Lines And Armstrong Relocation Company Criminals, theft, deception Fenton, Missouri
3rd of Nov, 2010 by User393279
We relocated from Dallas to Atlanta. Armstrong Relocation and United Van Lines were hired to do our move. The employees arrived late and had a negative attitude. When I requested a new team I was denied and told they all had background checks. Our safe and it's contents were stolen by one or more of the men who moved us the same evening while still in Dallas, per police report. 3 of the 5 men had criminal backgrounds, per police report. The moving company representative advised me a month before the move that if I had anything of value I was afraid of having stole to place it in my safe and do not disclose the contents on the high value list of items. I did this and now the company is refusing to reimburse us the full value of our stolen items even though they employed criminals who robbed us and their rep. gave me the instructions which I followed.
