I ordered three transmissions and two torque converters from Wholesale Transmission Distributor. I received the first two transmissions after having to wait about two months. In the mean time I ordered another transmission with torque converter and one torque converter for a different vehicle. I installing the first two transmissions and they work fine. I had to wait three months to receive the last transmission and torque converters. In the mean time the credit card bill came and I was charged for two transmissions on this last order. I called Jeff and said that I was over charged and he stated that he put in the order as two transmissions and would fix the problem right away. I told him to credit my credit card back he said he would. After a few weeks go by and I have not received a refund to my credit card. I call him back up and ask where is the refund he states that he was unable to refund my credit card because to much time has pasted. While still waiting for my transmission to show up that he keeps saying: its on the way, shipping out today, or shipping out tomorrow, I am waiting to receive a refund. I finally received my transmission after three months of waiting, the guy I ordered it for is irate. I still have not received my refund and it has been two months sense I received the transmission. Jeff keeps saying that he is sending the refund check but I have yet to see it and now he is not answering or returning my phone calls. I will never deal with Jeff Madison or Wholesale Transmission Distributor again. |

I purchase a rebuilt 4l60E transmission w/rebuilt torque convertor for my blazer from these guys back on 4/18/13 for $649.00 with a 3 year unlimited mileage warranty. I had to pay for shipping separate $148.00 when the transmission was delivered. I had it install professionally installed at a local shop here in northern California. It lasted approximately 3200 miles in 3 months. It started to slip badly while on the freeway. Had the blazer towed home. Called Jeff Madison (owner) on 7/22/13 told him the problem and gave him the error code P1870. Jeff told me he would have another transmission sent out free of charge which included shipping. He told me to have the bad transmission ready to pick up when the 2nd transmission showed up.
The 2nd transmission was delivered on 7/29/13. I had to pay shipping another $148.00, but the trucking company did not pick the 1st bad transmission. Called Jeff told him about the shipping charge and the trucking company refused to pick up the 1st bad transmission. He told me another truck will pick up the 1st transmission and he will refund the shipping charges when he receives the 1st transmission back. Had the 2nd transmission installed by the same shop, but the 2nd transmission didn't have forward just reverse. Called Jeff told him the problem he tried to blame the problem on the shop but I told him it was the same shop the install the 1st transmission. Then I told him I wanted a refund. He convinces me to take a 3rd transmission with a new torque convertor, I agreed. He told me it would take a couple of extra days for the 3rd transmission to be delivered because he wanted to test the 3rd transmission thoroughly to ensure it operated correctly. 3 weeks later and several calls still no transmission just bad tracking numbers and false shipping dates. On 9/12/13 I had enough and demanded a refund for the transmission, delivery costs and installation of the 2nd transmission. Jeff agreed to refund the cost of the transmission and shipping costs for both transmissions.
Well I needed my blazer so I had a local shop rebuilt my original transmission and it been working great for 4500 miles. I have called Jeff several times since September 2013 to get my refund. So many times he refuses to take my calls and refers me to Steve the customer service person. Steve has promise me a check so times I lost track. All I get is rhetoric from these guys. I filed a claim with the Better Business Bureau and Jeff would not respond to them. The BBB rate them as an F (A being the best) the worse rating you can get. It's mid February 2014 and I still have no refund. I still call them every day but the same old rhetoric, the check will be sent out next week, your next in line for the check, had a bad week can't send check yet, , etc. So stay clear of these guys. If you don't believe me, review them on the web I'm one of many!!!
