United nissan Sold a used car with issues Las Vegas, Nevada |

I came to united nissan on 2/21 to purchase a used vehicle. I was shown a 2010 sentra and test drove it. The brakes made a squealing noise, and when I asked the salesman what it was he told me that in the morning, the cars are hosed down to keep them clean and that the brakes probably were damp, that this would go away. It didn't do it our entire test drive so I believed him. I also made the silly mistake of not inspecting all the tires etc. I'm the first to admit I'm not a great car person but I figured I was safe at a dealer. I bought the car and trade my car in. While driving home the brake noise just got more incessant. I looked the car over at home and found that the tire had a crack in the side wall. I took it to a tire store and had it replaced. They found a nail in my other tire as well, so I bought two. They looked at the other two and the sidewall were weather cracking. When i returned home, I opened my glovebox to get my paperwork out so I could call nissan, I found a sales receipt from the car being sold on 2/9 for three thousand more than I paid. I called and spoke to Patrick grey senior and he told me to come in first thing in the morning (830) on Saturday to meet with him and discuss the issues. I arrived at 830 and he was not even there. I waited patiently for him and at 945 he came to see me . Didn't apologize for making me wait. He had my car taken to service, told me I got a great deal on my car so even if I have to pay for new tires i was still coming out on top. He told me the brakes were "wearing in" as they had just put brand new after market pads on the car weeks prior. I asked for some help with the tires, as the remaining two did not look good. He told me its on everyone's tires because we live in the desert. I told him that the car I gave them didn't have tires like that and he responded that he could go pick apart my car of I have him the chance. Bottom line I left there with no help at all, just patronized. i asked for my trade back and to return thier car and he told me no. i asked twice . . i also asked him why there was a sales receipt in my car and he told me it was because the people that bought it got a lower apr And came back to get an Altima instead. I felt uneasy so I actually called the persons number on the sales receipt. They stayed that they brought the car back due to brake noise and they did NOT purchase anything else. I went to an auto shop, where I learned that the pads were worn down and needed replaced. I did it, because it was only 130 and my other attempts to return this car failed. I contacted Patrick and left him a message telling him I knew he lied on both accounts and asking him to co tact me. He has not done so. |
